ill use this thread to collect some new test bioses for the boards, maybe also to explain some less understood options
to disable cores ccd go here and choose ccd xx bit map down core.
each ones stand for an enabled core
best to disable from the back, ie:
110000
instead of 0011000
after selection press downcore apply changes or discard if made mistake
ocpak/octools
FAQ:
7950x not boosting pass 5.5G -> check that CStates is not disabled
Detailed Explanation on CState Boot Limiter
Test BIOSes:
new:
X3D OC Preset for those MB with asynch BCLK Support: (for simple slight perf boost for X3D)
DOCP/EXPO Tweaked: (for simple timings tightening)
strixe-e 1515
for crosshair and strix e-e:
explanation of segment2 Loadline:
customize a heterogenous loadline for a dual segment workload range.
example above shows loadline=L6 when current is in range of 0~40A, and Level4 when current is above 40A.
Adds for x3d
dynamic ccd priority switch with core flex, os / driver agnostic so win10 win11 ok
Algo as follows:
If condition reached and ccd0 specified, then check current mem/cache activity > threshold and hysteresis reached, if fulfilled then switch
If condition reached and ccd1 specified, then check current mem/cache activity <=threshold and hysteresis reached,, if fulfilled then switch
Default hysteresis =4
Can combine multiple algos for ccd priority so combinations are wide
works on non x3d too but of course senseless on it. detailed explanation here.

Same here, second SSD has been missing after updating to 1802. Downgrading resolved the problem.

We will check this issue
thanks

For me primary Mobo NVME SSD gone missing on X670E Extreme post 1802 flashing. GENZ_M2.1 is still discovered in BIOS.
This seems to be intermittent. If I reboot the PC 1-2 more time, eventually BIOS sees the primary drive and boots in OS with no issues.

I have the X670e Gene, I flashed 1802 to give it a try, I have 3 x WD 850X nvme drives, no SATA drives, load optimized defaults before flashing then save and exit, re-enter the bios and start flashing, it reboots 3 times on this flash and then powers off, on manual power on one of my nvme drives were missing as others are saying, however I went to the exit menu and loaded optimized defaults again, then save and exit, entered back into the bios and the missing nvme was back.
On a plus note (bear in mind I'm currently in defaults) it took about 5 seconds to post which is a big improvement over 20-30 seconds, I'm just going to input my 6400mhz bios settings for now and report back.
EDIT: OK so the drive comes and goes, its the slot on the motherboard on the Gene, not the Gen Z Card, you just have to try and boot, if you enter into the bios to see if its there, and then exit, it might not be the next time it trains, so you just have to let it try, if the boot drive is missing, reboot and try again.
Once you have manually set up ram, CO etc, training is down to approx 10 seconds, so still faster than before, but not as fast as defaults.
Do not load your CMO files, things have moved around, especially on the boot screen, you are now presented with a rather large "Press Del or F2 to enter the bios" and also in the Extreme Tweaker menu, I video recorded my bios before flashing and then just went through it manually entering everything again.
FCLK etc is still at 2200mhz, so I guess ive now got a night of testing to see if its still stable.

Please tell me what the problem might be.
Extremely huge latency.
This is the situation with any frequencies and timings, except standard ones.

Hello - does anyone know if this (edit: 1802 beta) BIOS fixes the issue where a 4090 is not detected after a warm reboot, causing the iGPU to become the primary and forcing video output through the HDMI port on the motherboard? When it does this, my system gets kicked into BitLocker recovery mode and I have to shut it down and do a cold reboot. This happens every. single. time. after a warm reboot. This behavior has been tested against a fresh install of Windows (including now the latest Win11 23H2). I don't know if this specific issue has been discussed in this forum, but I have seen this issue posted elsewhere. Not sure if it is isolated to the 4090 - but that is the only GPU I have seen people discussing it over.
