ill use this thread to collect some new test bioses for the boards, maybe also to explain some less understood options

to disable cores ccd go here and choose ccd xx bit map down core.
each ones stand for an enabled core
best to disable from the back, ie:
110000
instead of 0011000
after selection press downcore apply changes or discard if made mistake

customize a heterogenous loadline for a dual segment workload range.

example above shows loadline=L6 when current is in range of 0~40A, and Level4 when current is above 40A.

Adds for x3d

dynamic ccd priority switch with core flex, os / driver agnostic so win10 win11 ok

97404

Algo as follows:
If condition reached and ccd0 specified, then check current mem/cache activity > threshold and hysteresis reached, if fulfilled then switch
If condition reached and ccd1 specified, then check current mem/cache activity <=threshold and hysteresis reached,, if fulfilled then switch
Default hysteresis =4

Can combine multiple algos for ccd priority so combinations are wide

works on non x3d too but of course senseless on it. detailed explanation here.

That is the driver I'm using.  It installs as 5084 for ARC discrete GPUs and 5122 for Intel® Core™ Ultra Processors with Intel® Arc™ Graphics.  That's why it mentions both versions in its name.

I would like to update to latest version but there is quite a few people complaining about nvmes disappearing. What's the status of that? I can't see it being fixed in the release notes so  I assume it's still an issue?

That problem has already been fixed

Hey,

Been running pretty much stable with my current setup since July this year. Haven't updated the BIOS since version: 1516.

Although I am experiencing this one bug/problem which I haven't been able to sort out. Perhaps someone else has had the same experience.

Specs: ROG CROSSHAIR X670E EXTREME, 7950X3D, RTX4090, RAM 2x32 DOMINATOR sticks, 2x Samsung SSD 990 PRO and one external USB4/Thunderbolt SSD. Running Win10.

Bug: every now and then I experience this split second hickup where the mouse cursor stops before resuming again. Sometimes it happens right after windows boot before you login, or when you start applications. But then again not always.

I've tried disabling all unused ports and features in BIOS without a fix. Done the power management fix for the Thunderbolt controller. Also disabled idle state for the internal SSDs.

Can anyone advise what I can do to resolve this bug?

All input is appreciated 🙏🏾

@niket67 I would try to run memory diagnostic scan.
In my experience a lagging mouse may mean that your RAM is making a lot of corrupt data.

But you should upgrade bios, as there is a fix now for logofail,

Hey, thanks for the recommendation.

Initially when I built the system, I ran various stress tests for CPU, RAM and GPU. Both with stock and *OCed configuration. For RAM specifically, I did MemTest86 Pro, Kharu, TestMem5, OCCT, AIDA64. Kharu and TestMem5 ran for over 24h without an error.

If there's any other method of pinpointing it to RAM I am all ears?

@niket67 if you are in Windows 11, you can click windows button.
Then type: memory

You should then see memory diagnostic, press key down and enter.
It then prompts you to reboot and scan. Scanning may take up to 1 hour I think.

Memtest86+ is also a good option - as you used, but I was able to find errors with the MS scan once.
You can also do some scans in windows to look for corrupt files.

Open up CMD in adminitrator mode, one by one run these commands:
Dism /Online /Cleanup-Image /ScanHealth
Dism /Online /Cleanup-Image /CheckHealth
Dism /Online /Cleanup-Image /RestoreHealth
sfc /scannow

Again, thanks for the tips. I am on Win10. Will find some equivalent RAM diagnostic tool and check if anything pops up. It's just so weird. 😂 I can do heavy taxing work in adobe premier, after effects, game for hours and nothing happens. And sometimes you get these rare split second hiccups. Think I'll update to the latest bios tonight.
