ill use this thread to collect some new test bioses for the boards, maybe also to explain some less understood options

to disable cores ccd go here and choose ccd xx bit map down core.
each ones stand for an enabled core
best to disable from the back, ie:
110000
instead of 0011000
after selection press downcore apply changes or discard if made mistake

Test BIOSes:

Spoiler

new:
X3D OC Preset for those MB with asynch BCLK Support: (for simple slight perf boost for X3D)
97792

DOCP/EXPO Tweaked: (for simple timings tightening)
97793

strixe-e 1515

strixe-f 1515

strix e a 1515

crosshair hero 1515

crosshair gene 1515

crosshair extreme 1515

creator 670 1515

creator b650 1515

strix 650E I

strix 670 itx

for crosshair and strix e-e:

explanation of segment2 Loadline:

dualseg.jpg

customize a heterogenous loadline for a dual segment workload range.

example above shows loadline=L6 when current is in range of 0~40A, and Level4 when current is above 40A.

Adds for x3d

dynamic ccd priority switch with core flex, os / driver agnostic so win10 win11 ok

97403

97404

Algo as follows:
If condition reached and ccd0 specified, then check current mem/cache activity > threshold and hysteresis reached, if fulfilled then switch
If condition reached and ccd1 specified, then check current mem/cache activity <=threshold and hysteresis reached,, if fulfilled then switch
Default hysteresis =4

Can combine multiple algos for ccd priority so combinations are wide

works on non x3d too but of course senseless on it. detailed explanation here.

My bad, I'm using a crosshair hero.

Installed the 1002 BIOS. Set Expo I and all stock settings.

Anytime the CPU is under load the computer slows to a crawl. Mouse jumps around the screen at <10FPS. Usually happens when coming into windows or when loading something like HWiNFO64. I will try turning off the Thunderbolt USB Port on the next reboot to see if it fixes the lag.

Also, now when I load HWiNFO64 I get USB dropouts. My mouse pad and keyboard dropped out. Had to reboot for it to come back. On second reboot my camera dropped out. I have not adjusted the voltage. I will try that next but it didn't fix the dropouts on 0922, 0925, or 1001. Dropouts are happening a lot more frequently with 1002.

Audio popping is still happening. Every time there is a sound on SPDIF there is a loud pop that happens as the audio is turned on. Switched over to BlueTooth and the popping is happening there as well.

Will report anything else that I find.

So far, this release is worse than 1001 for me.

1002 Bios Issues Continued.

Turned off the thunderbolt USB4 ports and the slowdowns seem to have stopped. I really don't know why having those enabled but nothing in them is such a taxing experience for the CPU. But it 100% is. It would be nice if that were to be looked into for any further BIOS updates. Having ports on but empty shouldn't cause this much CPU lag.

Also, increasing the voltages to the chipset hasn't seemed to fix the dropouts to the USB. During the boot into Windows 11, I had my Brio camera drop out for 'Hello'. Got into Windows and it wasn't listed in the device manager. It never came back. A reboot of the system brought it back up.

1002: I tried the new X3D async OC option. Instant BSOD in windows.

It is there - I have strix e-e and disabled integrated gpu.
For now bios 1002 in ok but I'm still testing USB missing problem. Few hours without error.

Tried turning on MCR in bios. Got BSOD in Windows 11.

Went to turn it off in the BIOS and the BIOS locked up. It took me 4 or 5 tries to get it turned back on AUTO. Finally got it set to auto and went into windows.

Ran TestMem5 v0.12 for 45 minutes with no errors.

I think Memory Context Restore isn't working still...

Still no luck on 1002. POST on default but after making changes I only got one boot. Tried EXPO, EXPO II, EXPO tweaked, turning Memory Power Down to enabled. I got some other Q-Codes with EXPO Tweaker like 0d and a freeze on 1A where I couldn't even reboot.
Tried removing HDDs and Gen-z.2 board, and reseating memory again.
Back on 0805 memory is still good, EXPO worked fine and I'm still managing to lower times there for fun with no errors.

sounds strange, can you try advanced memory voltages/synch all pmics/memory vpp voltage set to 1.85v (default 1.80v)
(high dram voltage mode = auto i presume? )

Tried EXPO I with memory vpp 1.85, synch all pmics, and auto high voltage mode. No luck.

Edit:Tried on 1002
