ill use this thread to collect some new test bioses for the boards, maybe also to explain some less understood options

to disable cores ccd go here and choose ccd xx bit map down core.
each ones stand for an enabled core
best to disable from the back, ie:
110000
instead of 0011000
after selection press downcore apply changes or discard if made mistake

DOCP/EXPO Tweaked: (for simple timings tightening)

explanation of segment2 Loadline:

dualseg.jpg

customize a heterogenous loadline for a dual segment workload range.

example above shows loadline=L6 when current is in range of 0~40A, and Level4 when current is above 40A.

Adds for x3d

dynamic ccd priority switch with core flex, os / driver agnostic so win10 win11 ok

97403

97404

Algo as follows:
If condition reached and ccd0 specified, then check current mem/cache activity > threshold and hysteresis reached, if fulfilled then switch
If condition reached and ccd1 specified, then check current mem/cache activity <=threshold and hysteresis reached,, if fulfilled then switch
Default hysteresis =4

Can combine multiple algos for ccd priority so combinations are wide

works on non x3d too but of course senseless on it. detailed explanation here.

Currently testing this Bios.
trefi works, brings more performance.
But CPU Boost Clocks are much lower.
only with +200 Override i can reach 5.7 in single clock effective while testing with BoostTester and that although it would "want" to achieve 5.9.
In 0801 for example i had seen also 5.8Ghz+ with +100 on Override and negative CO values on cores
Is this related to new AGESA? Or can you fix it.

I think it's the AGESA, but HWINFO64 is no performance metric, when I run benchmarks performance is still the same as older bios even though HWINFO64 shows lower boost. I wouldn't worry too much.

This problem come from a new member who can't post here yet @Shafiullah

He have an Asus X670E-HERO and he used 4 DIMM at the max capacity 128gb the problem is the ram speed is locked to 3600mhz, is that a problem or it must work like that by default?

I am on the Crosshair Extreme, also using 4x32GB of memory. Left on auto settings it will indeed tune itself to 3600 speed, and that is the documented supported speed for 4 sticks. I'm feeling rather lucky this early on in the platform's life that I can get it running at that density and with mixing two 64GB kits (albeit identical ones) stable at all (and on the board's original BIOS it didn't, I would BSOD, but as of 0705 I am fine).

I haven't tried to apply EXPO settings to the 4 sticks because, frankly, I don't think there's a chance in hell of it working and I don't want to lose current memory training which is thoroughly tested 100% stable. But when the next BIOS comes out and I'm going to have to lose the current memory training anyway, I'll give it a shot setting it to EXPO (5200 on my sticks) just to see what happens. On the board's original BIOS, I couldn't get that to even post.

@shamino do you this the firmware update will resolve the issue of not running at 6000mhz speed (128gb. )Â*

no, 4X32gb dual rank will struggle to run at 4800 , this is a memory controller limitation, 6000 is out of the question. i would not waste my time waiting for this to happen.

@shamino thank you. You would advice to run 2x32gb at 6000mhz or 128gb 4800.Â*

I’m using for simulation and and 3d work Â*

since you already have 128GB installed, run your simulation tasks and check task manager to see how much memory is being utilized at its peak and how much Memory is left. if it's below 50GB you should get by fine and have enough buffer to run 2x32 at 6000.
