ill use this thread to collect some new test bioses for the boards, maybe also to explain some less understood options
to disable cores ccd go here and choose ccd xx bit map down core.
each ones stand for an enabled core
best to disable from the back, ie:
110000
instead of 0011000
after selection press downcore apply changes or discard if made mistake
ocpak/octools
FAQ:
7950x not boosting pass 5.5G -> check that CStates is not disabled
Detailed Explanation on CState Boot Limiter
Test BIOSes:
new:
X3D OC Preset for those MB with asynch BCLK Support: (for simple slight perf boost for X3D)
DOCP/EXPO Tweaked: (for simple timings tightening)
strixe-e 1515
for crosshair and strix e-e:
explanation of segment2 Loadline:
customize a heterogenous loadline for a dual segment workload range.
example above shows loadline=L6 when current is in range of 0~40A, and Level4 when current is above 40A.
Adds for x3d
dynamic ccd priority switch with core flex, os / driver agnostic so win10 win11 ok
Algo as follows:
If condition reached and ccd0 specified, then check current mem/cache activity > threshold and hysteresis reached, if fulfilled then switch
If condition reached and ccd1 specified, then check current mem/cache activity <=threshold and hysteresis reached,, if fulfilled then switch
Default hysteresis =4
Can combine multiple algos for ccd priority so combinations are wide
works on non x3d too but of course senseless on it. detailed explanation here.

I don't mean this beta here 1715 which is already out

Due to the numbering used I suspect those are internal testing BIOS being shared. Probably to get it tested on more setups. Betas for public tend to have numbering following the usual scheme. Seen this in the past on OCN where say Elmor/Shamino were running threads for x board.
The updates highlighted within 9911 will most probably be applied to other boards in next set of betas.
Bugs which exist on one board tend to exist on another, as I believe a lot of the firmware is shared between boards and certain modules are custom to a board.

9911 on Gene with 2:1 profile some updates show in ZT,.. ProcOdt's, RittNom's, and VDDG's most likely other settings/timings in the background also changed if left in Auto.

tRTP 14 is doable at 9600MT/s, my leet% screen shot 🙂 .
Tried 2 different 8700F, 2 different 2x24GB, used 2 different UEFI versions and tRDWR 16 may not have an issue in Karhu, but test speed keeps bouncing below ~330MBs, so seems a performance loss.

@gupsterg Hi again! As you might remember, with your help I managed to get my 6400 1:1 config stable with GDM disabled.
Now, after updating to the AGESA 1.2.0.3g BIOS version and tweaking the Bias settings, I’ve noticed that I can actually boot 6600 1:1 mode (GDM disabled, Nitro 1-2-1) with 1.3 VSoC.
Do you think it’s possible to make this configuration fully stable?
Previously, whenever I tried 6600 1:1 with 2200 FCLK, I would instantly get BSOD or errors in Karhu RAM Test.
What do you think we can do in this situation? Do you have any advice? Thanks again for all your help!

Try manually setting VDDG IOD/CCD to 1.0V to see if that makes a difference.
