ill use this thread to collect some new test bioses for the boards, maybe also to explain some less understood options

to disable cores ccd go here and choose ccd xx bit map down core.
each ones stand for an enabled core
best to disable from the back, ie:
110000
instead of 0011000
after selection press downcore apply changes or discard if made mistake

for crosshair and strix e-e:

explanation of segment2 Loadline:

dualseg.jpg

customize a heterogenous loadline for a dual segment workload range.

example above shows loadline=L6 when current is in range of 0~40A, and Level4 when current is above 40A.

Adds for x3d

dynamic ccd priority switch with core flex, os / driver agnostic so win10 win11 ok

97403

97404

Algo as follows:
If condition reached and ccd0 specified, then check current mem/cache activity > threshold and hysteresis reached, if fulfilled then switch
If condition reached and ccd1 specified, then check current mem/cache activity <=threshold and hysteresis reached,, if fulfilled then switch
Default hysteresis =4

Can combine multiple algos for ccd priority so combinations are wide

works on non x3d too but of course senseless on it. detailed explanation here.

Today a have switched from 7800X3D to 9800X3D with the ROG Strix B650E-E Gaming WiFi. Bevor the switch to 9800X3D i have flashed the newest BIOS 3057 with AGESA 1.2.0.2a. At the first start with the 9800X3D the POST had a duration about a few minutes. My RAM-Settings were not stable.

Then i hav flashed BIOS 3057 via Flashback. After this process, BIOS 3014 with AGESA 1.2.0.0a was installed (WTF?). The first POST was normal with only a few seconds. Then i upgraded to BIOS Version 3057. After this Upgrade, the POST duration was again about many minutes with the Q-Code 15 (DRAM-Training).

Mext step was BIOS 3035 (AGESA 1.2.0.1a) via Flashback. POST is normal with a few seconds. Upgrade to Version 3057 again -> POST with many minutes. WTF?

I'am using the following RAM-Kit: F5-6000J3636F32GX2-RS5K from G.Skill.

The Upgrade to Version 3057 with the 7800X3D was compared to the 9800X3D very smooth with a short Post duration and the same RAM-Kit.

I had the same experience. Code 15, and nothing happened for several minutes. Eventually, I turned off the PC and tested with just one RAM stick. Got Code 15 again, tried a different slot, and then got a code indicating that the memory wasn’t on the QVL list.

In the end, I just waited a long time, and eventually, it worked.
fTPM corrupted, blah blah... Since then, everything has been fine except for saving the BIOS as a .cmo file (which seems to be a known issue).

My RAM is from G.Skill as well - F5-6800J3445G16G.

RTX 4090 FE - B650EE - 9800X3D - GSkill 32GB - Corsair AX1000 Titanium - AW3423DWF/CX65"
SP:109 / FCLK 2200 / 6400 CL30 - MORA 420 Steel Edition; Heatkiller IV Pro

I'm having similar issues except on the x670e-e gaming wifi board. My ram is completely unstable on the latest BIOS ver.

Are these official Asus BIOS's or where do they come from?

Those are official BETA (=test versions) BIOS versions.

Do we know when the official 0701 BIOS will be released by chance?

Tomorrow! 😘

Oh nice! Thanks.

This new BIOS Version 2506 update implemented TURBO MODE.

- For the 7950X3D any improvements in gaming performance?

- Is the CCD only disabled when used in games or will it remain disabled until it is reversed in the BIOS?
