ill use this thread to collect some new test bioses for the boards, maybe also to explain some less understood options

to disable cores ccd go here and choose ccd xx bit map down core.
each ones stand for an enabled core
best to disable from the back, ie:
110000
instead of 0011000
after selection press downcore apply changes or discard if made mistake

explanation of segment2 Loadline:

dualseg.jpg

customize a heterogenous loadline for a dual segment workload range.

example above shows loadline=L6 when current is in range of 0~40A, and Level4 when current is above 40A.

Adds for x3d

dynamic ccd priority switch with core flex, os / driver agnostic so win10 win11 ok

97403

97404

Algo as follows:
If condition reached and ccd0 specified, then check current mem/cache activity > threshold and hysteresis reached, if fulfilled then switch
If condition reached and ccd1 specified, then check current mem/cache activity <=threshold and hysteresis reached,, if fulfilled then switch
Default hysteresis =4

Can combine multiple algos for ccd priority so combinations are wide

works on non x3d too but of course senseless on it. detailed explanation here.

You keep saying that these BIOSes increase stability, yet since I upgraded my ROG Crosshair X670E Hero from 0805, I can no longer enable the EXPO profile for my RAMs that are on the QVL list.

The RAMs are KF560C36BBEAK2-32 mounted on the X670E Hero with BIOS 2204, which are on the Ryzen 7000-Series QVL.

I've tried both 3 profiles, tried different combinations even changing the ‘Power Down Enable’, ‘Memory Context Restore’ but no luck...

At the reopening of the shop (on the 18th of August) where I bought the components, I was thinking of bringing the whole system for a check-up and in case, being an Asus authorised centre, open the relative RMA for the Mainboard because I'm starting to think it's faulty. Just for completeness, I also tried 2 other ram kits (always KF560C36BBEAK2-32 and some Corsair) but the problem remains.

For info, the power supply is a Corsair HX1000i and the CPU is liquid cooled with a Corsair iCUE H150i ELITE CAPELLIX.

For me there has been a night and day difference. Older BIOS revisions had stuttering and stuff while gaming. The new ones do not. I'm also able to push my RAM a bit further.

I took the plunge and updated my ProART X670E Creator Wifi Rev 1.xx work machine to 2302 on Tuesday and after a few days of 24/7 running it all seems to be running as normal.

R9 7900X CPU RPL-B2, 2x32GB CMK64GX5M2B5600Z40 5600Mhz CL40 QVL RAM, Windows 10 Pro, Chipset drivers V6.07.22.037 from AMD - which I had installed already since a week or so ago and this version has some components with slightly higher version numbers than the V6.07.15.126 chipset drivers available from the ProART X670E Creator Wifi support page.

I did have one anomaly while setting up my system in UEFI on first boot of 2302, upon entering the UEFI F1 setup screen my keyboard arrow keys were acting erratically and would move down/up through the menus at a crazy fast speed as if it was clocked way too high, it returned to normal speeds after a few minutes by itself, then after setting and saving my parameters, Q-fan tuning, etc, rebooting and entering the UEFI again after reboot to verify EXPO II was set the keyboard had no anomaly like it did on the first 2302 boot.

That was the only issue I have had but I cannot reproduce it so other than that all good so far 3 days in.

I forget from which version of BIOS I have had problems when enabling EXPO, causing no image on POST and when trying to enter the BIOS interface I only get black screen. The only solution so far is to enable MCR in the BIOS or disable the memory overclock (EXPO) or change from UEFI to CSM, it gives me image on POST and BIOS by DisplayPort, although I should mention that with HDMI works without problem.

A LOT of crashes on B650E-E.

I recommend not trying to jump high in the memories, leave it at default JEDEC (4800MHz) and manage other parameters first. If you can put the values you are configuring here, it would help people with the correction. Unfortunately, some ready-made profile timings may not work, so it is up to the user to find the best setting. If you know how to manipulate the impedances, this can help you devise a strategy, but don't worry if you don't know.

I usually load Expo Tweaked and go JEDEC (4800/1600). Worked OK with almost every bios.

ROG CROSSHAIR X670E HERO

Even the 2302 bios version has problems with the memories.

Sometimes the bios gives an error code on the display and, at the next boot, when it asks you to press F1 because the last boot failed, I noticed that many settings have been forgotten and have been put back in Auto.

Sincerly Asus has tired with these defective bios, every new bios brings new problems and no old defect has been corrected.

Same thing, start without torturing your memories and try to post here what you did, it will help people better visualize the problem. Use F12 to save a BIOS image to a USB stick and then change it to the JPEG/JPG type to make it smaller.
