ill use this thread to collect some new test bioses for the boards, maybe also to explain some less understood options

to disable cores ccd go here and choose ccd xx bit map down core.
each ones stand for an enabled core
best to disable from the back, ie:
110000
instead of 0011000
after selection press downcore apply changes or discard if made mistake

ocpak/octools

FAQ:
7950x not boosting pass 5.5G -> check that CStates is not disabled
Detailed Explanation on CState Boot Limiter

Test BIOSes:

new:
X3D OC Preset for those MB with asynch BCLK Support: (for simple slight perf boost for X3D)
97792

DOCP/EXPO Tweaked: (for simple timings tightening)
97793

strixe-e 1515

strixe-f 1515

strix e a 1515

crosshair hero 1515

crosshair gene 1515

crosshair extreme 1515

creator 670 1515

creator b650 1515

strix 650E I

strix 670 itx

for crosshair and strix e-e:

explanation of segment2 Loadline:

dualseg.jpg

customize a heterogenous loadline for a dual segment workload range.

example above shows loadline=L6 when current is in range of 0~40A, and Level4 when current is above 40A.

Adds for x3d

dynamic ccd priority switch with core flex, os / driver agnostic so win10 win11 ok

97403

97404

Algo as follows:
If condition reached and ccd0 specified, then check current mem/cache activity > threshold and hysteresis reached, if fulfilled then switch
If condition reached and ccd1 specified, then check current mem/cache activity <=threshold and hysteresis reached,, if fulfilled then switch
Default hysteresis =4

Can combine multiple algos for ccd priority so combinations are wide

works on non x3d too but of course senseless on it. detailed explanation here.

Is the 0805 beta same as the official release. Should i reflash 0805 from official release?

AFAIK, the CAP files have different SHA-256 hashes.

The latest BIOS update also apparently fixed my issue with the motherboard (CROSSHAIR X670E EXTREME) going to Q-code 0D after each and every reboot, requiring the CMOS to be cleared and reconfigured before booting to the OS. Go figure. I was this close to taking the entire system apart and RMAing the motherboard for something more stable.

EDIT: Actually, no it did not. I still have to reset the CMOS every time I shutdown/reboot before I can boot into the OS again.

did you guys suffer USB randomly discounect with x670e hero? also with the audio output also discounnect....

I still seem to have internet issues on 0805 but I am not sure if bios related or not. I have internet hard wired but when I turn wifi off I lose internet connection. If I go to settings it says ethernet is not connected but then it also gives me the option to disable it, which makes me think it is connected. Not sure what to do here, any tips?

Same problem here on strix -e try use balanced power profile this happened on me only when i use power save profile.

I have the Hero, and had to turn Wifi off before the ethernet port would work.

I have the strix x670e-f, i saw recently added oficial bios 0805 on asus driver page, is the same 0805 as the one on this page?

I am still getting rare random reboots when idle at stock settings on the X670e-i. This tends to happen when the system is awake (I have sleep disabled), but nothing is open. Thus far this has not happened when the machine is under load.

Shamino, does BIOS 0805 attempt to fix the issue that causes AIDA 64 sensors to lock CPU package temp? Here's a link from AIDA 64 forums discussing the issue:

https://forums.aida64.com/topic/10456-7950x-cpu-temp-issue/

The AIDA64 folks state near the end of that thread that they believe the issue lies in the ASUS bios:

So far our conclusion is also that the issue is rather rooted in the firmware (BIOS) handling the onboard sensor chip incorrectly than a bug in AIDA64.

Wherever the issues is, it really needs to be resolved. When that temp gets locked, the fans on my Ryujin II CPU cooler (and I suspect the internal CPU thermal limiters) obey the locked temperature, even if other sensors like those of HWINFO64 can still read it correctly. I can easily see that issue burning out some CPUs. AIDA64 sensors are unusable until that gets resolved.

I realized under AIda64 Preferences/Stability that "Low-Level sensor operations" causes the BIOS to stop reporting/freeze the CPU temp. Of course this sensor option is needed for my SensorPanel modules that I have in it.

you are still on 0705, the version readback can never be wrong.
perhaps you switched to bios2
