ill use this thread to collect some new test bioses for the boards, maybe also to explain some less understood options

to disable cores ccd go here and choose ccd xx bit map down core.
each ones stand for an enabled core
best to disable from the back, ie:
110000
instead of 0011000
after selection press downcore apply changes or discard if made mistake

explanation of segment2 Loadline:

dualseg.jpg

customize a heterogenous loadline for a dual segment workload range.

example above shows loadline=L6 when current is in range of 0~40A, and Level4 when current is above 40A.

Adds for x3d

dynamic ccd priority switch with core flex, os / driver agnostic so win10 win11 ok

97403

97404

Algo as follows:
If condition reached and ccd0 specified, then check current mem/cache activity > threshold and hysteresis reached, if fulfilled then switch
If condition reached and ccd1 specified, then check current mem/cache activity <=threshold and hysteresis reached,, if fulfilled then switch
Default hysteresis =4

Can combine multiple algos for ccd priority so combinations are wide

works on non x3d too but of course senseless on it. detailed explanation here.

Well ever think about the board might be defective ? as it does it with different cards?
Also are all properly seated as in pushed all the way in to click ?

I'm leaning towards the MB or CPU being defective, it is just that the problem is so random. When the GPU isn't stuck in 16x v1.1 mode, everything works perfectly. Performance is great, I can run CPU and GPU torture tests for literally days and everything is perfect.

Also. Might be obvious. Make sure your monitor is on before you turn on the PC.

If i don't do that i have a VGA led error. and boots to windows with no screen till login.

I have the same issue with my ProArt. If I accidentally wake my PC back up without turning my monitor on first then I get no video output. I have to unplug/replug my HDMI cable to get video again.

Hi greetings everyone, can you confirm if the version of "Bios 1905" is stable to activate EXPO? I was using the "Bios 1807" version and I had a very bad time with that version, I couldn't activate Manual (even with light times it restarted), EXPO I, II and Tweaked, with the brand "Kingston Renegade KF564C32RSAK2- 32 6400MT/s CL32 2X16GB", I thought those memories were the problem since they are not on the QVL list, and then I bought G.Skill Trident Z5 Neo RGB F5-6000J3038F16GX2-TZ5NR which are on the QVL list, but I had the same instability problem using the new rams, Just by using AIDA64 in the stress test the machine rebooted with a QCode "0d" or "15", I had to go back to "Bios 1602" and the problem disappeared, now I was able to use EXPO I, and II without performing modifications other than the pre-established ones, if you could confirm that version 1905 is stable I would appreciate it, so that I can install the LogoFAIL mitigation fix. and an apology for the way I write it in English, Thanks.
The specifications of my machine are:
-AMD Ryzen 7 7700X
-ROG Crosshair X670E Hero
-G.Skill Trident Z5 Neo RGB F5-6000J3038F16GX2-TZ5NR 6000MT/s CL30
-Corsair HX1000i 1000Watts

i have 1904 running here without issues on X670E-Extreme. Skipping 1905 as it only fix something for the new 8700g series

Good to hear someone has positive experiences 🙂
Enjoy your rig!

Hi, do any of you have the same problem as me?

Basically, 3DMark does not recognize my disk drives, I have installed on my system:

1 - NVMe Samsung 990 Pro - 2TB

1 - SSD Samsung 870  Evo - 4TB

I have a ROG Crosshair X670E HERO mobo with bios 1905 installed.

3DMark has always recognized the SSD installed, but today I noticed this problem...

Thanks in advance.

@74lobster I'd like to suggest restarting 3DMark and/or your PC. Besides storage info missing, the 3DMark screenshot is also missing all GPU and CPU information from Your system.

Thanks a lot, it fixed the issue.
