ill use this thread to collect some new test bioses for the boards, maybe also to explain some less understood options

to disable cores ccd go here and choose ccd xx bit map down core.
each ones stand for an enabled core
best to disable from the back, ie:
110000
instead of 0011000
after selection press downcore apply changes or discard if made mistake

Detailed Explanation on CState Boot Limiter

Test BIOSes:

new:
X3D OC Preset for those MB with asynch BCLK Support: (for simple slight perf boost for X3D)
97792

DOCP/EXPO Tweaked: (for simple timings tightening)
97793

strixe-e 1515

strixe-f 1515

strix e a 1515

crosshair hero 1515

crosshair gene 1515

crosshair extreme 1515

creator 670 1515

creator b650 1515

strix 650E I

strix 670 itx

for crosshair and strix e-e:

explanation of segment2 Loadline:

dualseg.jpg

customize a heterogenous loadline for a dual segment workload range.

example above shows loadline=L6 when current is in range of 0~40A, and Level4 when current is above 40A.

Adds for x3d

dynamic ccd priority switch with core flex, os / driver agnostic so win10 win11 ok

97403

97404

Algo as follows:
If condition reached and ccd0 specified, then check current mem/cache activity > threshold and hysteresis reached, if fulfilled then switch
If condition reached and ccd1 specified, then check current mem/cache activity <=threshold and hysteresis reached,, if fulfilled then switch
Default hysteresis =4

Can combine multiple algos for ccd priority so combinations are wide

works on non x3d too but of course senseless on it. detailed explanation here.

Hi Shamino,

Are you aware that enabling this feature when SMT is disabled results in the motherboards failing to POST? This is also true of the asynchronous BCLK configuration when SMT is disabled. This is true of my Crosshair Hero, but I suspect it may be true of all X670 boards. Is there a chance that both of these bugs can be fixed?

will be fixed next version

Very stable with combination of Process Lasso.

One thing I am unable to do is to set thermal limit for my 7950X3D to 90 degrees in bios. System does not post with QCode A9.

Either than that I’m quite happy.

Could you give us a run down on 'Medium Load Boost it' option, it seems to boost off idle status so there is higher min vcore, but it also messes with CO as the voltage changes. Does it effect the actual vf curve at all or just start higher along the curve and and possibly shift it a bit?

it does nothing to the vf curve except that it's boost freq is more agnostic to number of busy threads meaning more inclined to maintain boosts as number of busy threads go up.

Thank you so much, @Shamino!
Could you please clarify whether these are beta versions of the BIOS or parallel branches? I am new to this and have a ROG Crosshair X670E Hero running 0705.
Cheers!

X670E EXTREME
when i use 0705 BIOS,it is stable and i can run fclk 2167MHZ
But when i use 0802 bios ,i can not run fclk 2167 and if pbo is on ,my system is blue screen or restart.

What is now strix E with older fw ?

strix E with older fw seems to have restored boosting and fixed co offsets, while keeping memory stability 😄

@Shamino
Recently I have seen some interesting questions. The frame of 7950X turning off a CCD,8 core is better than that of a 16 core. Is this the problem of CPPC?
I have actually verified this claim that the game frames in the 8 core is indeed higher than that in the 16 core (OC MODE 5.4G).
Can you add the switch option of CPPC in BIOS? please
I didn't find CPPC option in 0805 BIOS.

X670E-I here and don't have eCLK mode or i'm blind.
Set "Ai Overclock Tuner" to "Manual" as Bios manual says for the eCLK mode to appear but no don't have it.
I'm with shaminos test bios. Anyone with the same board?
