to disable cores ccd go here and choose ccd xx bit map down core.
each ones stand for an enabled core
best to disable from the back, ie:
instead of 0011000
after selection press downcore apply changes or discard if made mistake

If condition reached and ccd0 specified, then check current mem/cache activity > threshold and hysteresis reached, if fulfilled then switch
If condition reached and ccd1 specified, then check current mem/cache activity <=threshold and hysteresis reached,, if fulfilled then switch
Default hysteresis =4

Can combine multiple algos for ccd priority so combinations are wide

Is there any official statement about this issue? At least are there some reddit post? I really want to know more about that.

So I decided to flash 1807 and here are my findings

  • Memory is still stable, no problems like some people report. Passed memtest86 and TestMem5 without any erros
  • I also have Corsair h150i elite capellix XT and there are no issues
  • nvmes aren't disappearing
  • The issue from this thread is finally fixed 👏Thank you Asus
  • There is no noticeable hit from the inception fix and adding mitigations=off to kernel params on linux seems to work
  • There are no issues with my 3070, it's always in x16 4.0
  • audio leakage problem is still present, the microphone is extremely quiet and needs a +30dB boost to be auditable without shouting into mic. I think this will need a FW fix for ALC4080 or something

You can't safely conclude that "memory is still stable" with just three cycles of TM5. You need to test it longer. I suggest 25 cycles using 1usmus profile.

Can you share this profile here?

It took about 7 years for this profile to finish, but I think it's safe to say that memory is stable on 1807

People can try the different AL4080/AL4082 drivers from Station Drivers, like ASROCK, MSI etc.

Some of them have the DB boost option which will fix the quiet mic. They'll still work on our MBs.

Hello everyone, since I installed the bios version 1807 on my ROG CROSSHAIR it is no longer possible for me to power cycle with the power supply, in practice it seems to no longer be able to discharge the current accumulated in the capacitors. Anyone else have the same problems as me?


Unplug the power cord to the power supply for 60 seconds after powering down. It WILL discharge the capacitors.

Hi, I am aware of this, however, in the old bios, when I unplugged the power supply and held down the power button to turn on the pc, I saw the keyboard lights turn on and off for a moment and this made me understand that the electrical voltage it was discharged, now this doesn't happen anymore...
