ill use this thread to collect some new test bioses for the boards, maybe also to explain some less understood options

to disable cores ccd go here and choose ccd xx bit map down core.
each ones stand for an enabled core
best to disable from the back, ie:
110000
instead of 0011000
after selection press downcore apply changes or discard if made mistake

for crosshair and strix e-e:

explanation of segment2 Loadline:

dualseg.jpg

customize a heterogenous loadline for a dual segment workload range.

example above shows loadline=L6 when current is in range of 0~40A, and Level4 when current is above 40A.

Adds for x3d

dynamic ccd priority switch with core flex, os / driver agnostic so win10 win11 ok

97403

97404

Algo as follows:
If condition reached and ccd0 specified, then check current mem/cache activity > threshold and hysteresis reached, if fulfilled then switch
If condition reached and ccd1 specified, then check current mem/cache activity <=threshold and hysteresis reached,, if fulfilled then switch
Default hysteresis =4

Can combine multiple algos for ccd priority so combinations are wide

works on non x3d too but of course senseless on it. detailed explanation here.

1415 - not looking the greatest. BIOS messed up even after CMOS reset, battery pull or flash back 🙂

I have today same issue, and this is ram issue, downclock it or use XMP/EXPO profile. Before it reset bios by jumper or with battery.

1416 for me won't save the stealth mode lighting setting in the bios when my pc is turned off, the mobo lighting itself stays on, other peripherals turn off.

Hi, I use my pc for graphic  tasks but I also love small form factors and I was thinking of going with a X670 Gene. I considered that 3 NVME and 1 PCI are enough for me. Does anyone here know if the Gene has some weird problems?

@Shamino is there any chance you/someone could introduce an on/off switch for the HD_LED (not the one from F_PANEL but the one described in the user manual as Storage Device Activity LED) on X670E Extreme? It's very annoying in a dark place/situation.

can you connect front I/O and then tape the LED on a case? To my knowledge the storage activity light on the motherboard only engages when front IO for HDD is not connected.

I would but ROG Strix Helios doesn't have HDD LED in the front I/O connector :))

How about shorting those pins with a jumper? Mobo will think it’s connected even if it leads nowhere 🙂

Great case, I have it as well.
