ill use this thread to collect some new test bioses for the boards, maybe also to explain some less understood options
to disable cores ccd go here and choose ccd xx bit map down core.
each ones stand for an enabled core
best to disable from the back, ie:
110000
instead of 0011000
after selection press downcore apply changes or discard if made mistake
ocpak/octools
FAQ:
7950x not boosting pass 5.5G -> check that CStates is not disabled
Detailed Explanation on CState Boot Limiter
Test BIOSes:
new:
X3D OC Preset for those MB with asynch BCLK Support: (for simple slight perf boost for X3D)
DOCP/EXPO Tweaked: (for simple timings tightening)
strixe-e 1515
for crosshair and strix e-e:
explanation of segment2 Loadline:
customize a heterogenous loadline for a dual segment workload range.
example above shows loadline=L6 when current is in range of 0~40A, and Level4 when current is above 40A.
Adds for x3d
dynamic ccd priority switch with core flex, os / driver agnostic so win10 win11 ok
Algo as follows:
If condition reached and ccd0 specified, then check current mem/cache activity > threshold and hysteresis reached, if fulfilled then switch
If condition reached and ccd1 specified, then check current mem/cache activity <=threshold and hysteresis reached,, if fulfilled then switch
Default hysteresis =4
Can combine multiple algos for ccd priority so combinations are wide
works on non x3d too but of course senseless on it. detailed explanation here.

My CPU temperature goes up and down to 90º instantaneously. Before the 1003 BIOS update there was no such problem. How can I fix it?

I'm still on 1004 BIOS with custom 1.25 VSoc. It's been super stable with external blck overclock applied, I won't be upgrading for a long time, seeing how these new bioses seem to be rushed out trash.

Any feedback from anyone using 1415 BIOS? I have been on it for a few weeks by now, and I can say my simple BIOS config has been quite stable. Been running OCCT, Cinebench and a few other synthetic stability tests with no issues. I still get GPU driver crashes on CSGO but that is nothing new in that game, otherwise everything else runs pretty fine for me.
I am not affected by the LAN disconnect issue or other recent issues reported on X670-E.

Very stable with combination of Process Lasso.
One thing I am unable to do is to set thermal limit for my 7950X3D to 90 degrees in bios. System does not post with QCode A9.
Either than that I’m quite happy.

LAN disconnect - is it the one that is fixed by disabling energy efficient ethernet in the driver or something else?

Not sure, I've just seen a few mentions about this issue but I have not experienced it myself

7950X3D here too, 64GB Z5 Neo EXPO I @6000 with buildzoid timings and voltages, PBO enabled, CPU boost @200, medium boostit enabled, no async eCLK on my E-A, almost anything else like MCR and so on left untouched
Back from LLC1 to auto LLC so had idle crashes, globally decreased 1303 stable CO by 6 ticks for being stable with 1415 and still refining per core values.
Due to overnight idle validation it will takes a few weeks to get perfect CO.

can you send me the link with the buildzoid timmings?

I think my 7900x is the worst binning ever.
I can't even set -5 in the CO, I tried the Buildzoid video and my system crashes inside the BIOS.

My Mother board X670e-e Strix.
