ill use this thread to collect some new test bioses for the boards, maybe also to explain some less understood options

to disable cores ccd go here and choose ccd xx bit map down core.
each ones stand for an enabled core
best to disable from the back, ie:
110000
instead of 0011000
after selection press downcore apply changes or discard if made mistake

Test BIOSes:

new:
X3D OC Preset for those MB with asynch BCLK Support: (for simple slight perf boost for X3D)

DOCP/EXPO Tweaked: (for simple timings tightening)

for crosshair and strix e-e:

explanation of segment2 Loadline:

dualseg.jpg

customize a heterogenous loadline for a dual segment workload range.

example above shows loadline=L6 when current is in range of 0~40A, and Level4 when current is above 40A.

Adds for x3d

dynamic ccd priority switch with core flex, os / driver agnostic so win10 win11 ok

97403

97404

Algo as follows:
If condition reached and ccd0 specified, then check current mem/cache activity > threshold and hysteresis reached, if fulfilled then switch
If condition reached and ccd1 specified, then check current mem/cache activity <=threshold and hysteresis reached,, if fulfilled then switch
Default hysteresis =4

Can combine multiple algos for ccd priority so combinations are wide

works on non x3d too but of course senseless on it. detailed explanation here.

I have understood perfectly, my boot time is quite fast, so I think is better leaving it in AUTO mode.

Thanks a lot.

Has anyone tried the X3D overclocking presets or know of anyone who has/done a benchmark? What does it change?

i have 4x16 GB Gskill 6000 MT CL30 stable on 1004 bios with EXPO II profile and 7950x3d. I had a 7950x when it launched and the bios from then the EXPO I option wasn’t stable. I might try the EXPO tweaked later.

Whaat? Can you please share your memory kitt(s)? Part number? It's not in QVL, not to mention almost no one can run 4 dimms at 6000MHz.

I'm running the X3D preset and scoring ~17500 in CPU-Z multi core and 715 single core. Limited to 70 degrees C on a delidded 7950X3D. Stock it was running ~16500 and 690, I think.

Even though you did not direct this question to me you might want to look at some of my posts in this thread. I am personally running 2 kits of G-Skill F5-6000J3038F16GX2-TZ5N CL30-38-38-96@1.35V (4 x 16GB=64GB total, non-RGB modules) with DDR5-6000 EXPO-Tweaked settings on CL30-38-38-48, MCLK 3000MHz FCLK 2000MHz UCLK 3000MHz.

Main changes I did are increased MC voltage to 1.400V.
The modules run at nominal 1.35V according to specification

I guess those settings are borderline but passing hours of memtest86+ without any error on my ASUS PRIME X670-P and R9 7950X@105WPBO.

However I would not accept this as granted and guess most similar configurations to perhaps boot but not being entirely stable (sporadic memory errors - please verify using memtest86+).

Any update on the PCIe cards not initializing front? 0925, 1003, 1004, all the same. GPU initializes every single time no problem. But I've got a x4 USB card in the bottom slot that's hit or miss. I'd call it 8 out of 10 times it initializes fine. 2 out of those 10 times, I get all the way into Windows just to find out that it doesn't see the existence of the card at all.

Where can I find the overclocking presets for X3D in the bios? I don’t see it anywhere

As of my knowledge the X3D does not support any overclocking. You could use PBO and Curve optimizer but  not the overclocking features.

It’s described as “X3D OC Preset for those MB with asynch BCLK Support: (for simple slight perf boost for X3D)” before providing a picture in the post - I couldn’t find the setting. I have x670e pro art

I have x670e pro art and the screenshot shows the option as called "Overclocking Presets". If anybody knows where to find it in the BIOS I'd appreciate it.
