ill use this thread to collect some new test bioses for the boards, maybe also to explain some less understood options

to disable cores ccd go here and choose ccd xx bit map down core.
each ones stand for an enabled core
best to disable from the back, ie:
110000
instead of 0011000
after selection press downcore apply changes or discard if made mistake

explanation of segment2 Loadline:

dualseg.jpg

customize a heterogenous loadline for a dual segment workload range.

example above shows loadline=L6 when current is in range of 0~40A, and Level4 when current is above 40A.

Adds for x3d

dynamic ccd priority switch with core flex, os / driver agnostic so win10 win11 ok

97403

97404

Algo as follows:
If condition reached and ccd0 specified, then check current mem/cache activity > threshold and hysteresis reached, if fulfilled then switch
If condition reached and ccd1 specified, then check current mem/cache activity <=threshold and hysteresis reached,, if fulfilled then switch
Default hysteresis =4

Can combine multiple algos for ccd priority so combinations are wide

works on non x3d too but of course senseless on it. detailed explanation here.

AFAI, the Issue is still undergoing investigation. Once resolved another BIOS will be released.

PROART X670E CREATOR WIFI BETA BIOS 1806

Tried PROART X670E CREATOR WIFI BETA BIOS 1806 on Win11 w/ 7950X3D and 64 GB of Corsair Vengeance DDR5 6000 (2x 32GB). So far I've had 2 BSODs... and I can't recall ever having BSODs on this system since I built it a year ago.

Rolling-back to 1710...

@SAFEDISK I tried to roll back to 1710 and it failed. I'm stuck 😞

After the initial reboot in EZFlash, it comes back and says "Updated failed!". It also seems to break EZflash at this point, because I can't exit... it gets to the "Do you want to leave Ez Flash 3" menu, and the Yes button doesn't respond.

Things I've tried:

1. Redownloaded 1710. No difference.
2. Tried older BIOSes- these all get rejected by EzFlash as invalid BIOS files.
3. Made sure I reset to Optimized Defaults first.
4. Rollback support is enabled.

Anyone have any ideas?

This new 1806 BIOS and the 1802 BIOS before it have issues setting the graphics interface speed.

I use a PROART X670E CREATOR WIFI board with an ARC A750 Intel graphics card and when I boot, I have random max supported PCI -E Link Width and Link Speeds.  When I run a graphics intensive application or game, instead of the bus speed increasing to the max, the speed of the application or game is actually being limited down to what CPU-Z and GPU-Z show as the bus speed.

If I switch back to the 1709 official BIOS, I don't have any of those issues.

Please test this BIOS on other boards and with other graphics cards as well to verify the same bug.

Screen shots below show ARC A750 running at PCIe x2 Link Width, the boot prior to this was at x8.  With the 1709 BIOS, it will consistently boot at x16.  Other tools such as AIDA 64 show the same thing.  Performance is degraded in apps/games, so it's not superficial.

 CPU-Z.jpg GPU-Z.jpg

Try setting PCIe16 to Gen 4 in BIOS.

Thank you for the suggestion, however, that was one of the first things I tried and it did not help.

With a game running or Chrome with hardware acceleration with Twitch running, which uses the GPU, I get the below.

I'm using an RTX 3060 just until CableMod sends me my replacement RTX 4090.
