ill use this thread to collect some new test bioses for the boards, maybe also to explain some less understood options

to disable cores ccd go here and choose ccd xx bit map down core.
each ones stand for an enabled core
best to disable from the back, ie:
110000
instead of 0011000
after selection press downcore apply changes or discard if made mistake

Detailed Explanation on CState Boot Limiter

Test BIOSes:

new:
X3D OC Preset for those MB with asynch BCLK Support: (for simple slight perf boost for X3D)
97792

DOCP/EXPO Tweaked: (for simple timings tightening)
97793

strixe-e 1515

strixe-f 1515

strix e a 1515

crosshair hero 1515

crosshair gene 1515

crosshair extreme 1515

creator 670 1515

creator b650 1515

strix 650E I

strix 670 itx

for crosshair and strix e-e:

explanation of segment2 Loadline:

dualseg.jpg

customize a heterogenous loadline for a dual segment workload range.

example above shows loadline=L6 when current is in range of 0~40A, and Level4 when current is above 40A.

Adds for x3d

dynamic ccd priority switch with core flex, os / driver agnostic so win10 win11 ok

97403

97404

Algo as follows:
If condition reached and ccd0 specified, then check current mem/cache activity > threshold and hysteresis reached, if fulfilled then switch
If condition reached and ccd1 specified, then check current mem/cache activity <=threshold and hysteresis reached,, if fulfilled then switch
Default hysteresis =4

Can combine multiple algos for ccd priority so combinations are wide

works on non x3d too but of course senseless on it. detailed explanation here.

from what i see its not soc per say but a combination of ingredients:

1) x3d

2) high soc such as 1.45

3) bad cooling -> bad mount or pump not running.

All these 3 must be in combination to cause danger.

I'm just asking about safe values of those voltages.
1- SOC 1,305 max - lets say high but ok ? (it is EXPO AUTO)
2- VDDIO/MC 1,447 max - looks too high or not ?  (it is EXPO AUTO)

It is weird if I manulay set in bios 1,35V for VDDIO/MC and see 1,388V in bios readings or 1,4V in windows hardware sensors programs when stressing cpu. 1,35V isn't 1,4V !

I know that it is new hardware but we should have somekind (like in old times) table with safe voltages for cpus/mobos.
I remeber old intel x99 table for my asus mobo and I can saw there every voltage there in 3 parts:
Stock = xxxx V, typical work = xxxx V and when OC do not exceed = xxxx V

We need info like this - from xxx V to zzz V is safe but don't exceed ccc V. So simple.

soc->

according to amd guideline 1.30v= safe

2) hardware monitor read back higher than actual => read my post before your post.

3) regarding vddio , by default it should be sycnhronized with your dram voltage which is typically 1.40v xmp/expo

just dont exceed 1.50v vddio /mc if youre scared

Thanks for the info.

Hi,

When can we expect next BIOS update for Hero x670E based on Agesa 1.0.7.0?

Guys, i have an 7900x + x670e-e strix + galahad 360mm.

I Barely can reach -5 on PBO All Cores, probably bronze sample?

My temperatures in a game like Battlefield 2042 reach almost 95 degrees, and in syntetich tests, like 3dMark Time Spy and CPU-Z my results are below most reviews available on internet.
Any ideas what i can do?
Bios: 1004.
RAM: F5-6000J3040G32GX2-TZ5NR

There are some variances as you mentioned yourself. The question is how far you are off from expectations. You might want to simply check your cooler and thermal paste application to assure proper heat transfer and cooling capabilities first.

Does anyone knows which parameters MCR saves? Because most of the time when i enable MCR during windows boot i get random pixel noise and freeze and ocasionally it boots. With MCR set to auto it boots 100% of time but takes too da mn long to POST. About 60s i think
