ill use this thread to collect some new test bioses for the boards, maybe also to explain some less understood options

to disable cores ccd go here and choose ccd xx bit map down core.
each ones stand for an enabled core
best to disable from the back, ie:
110000
instead of 0011000
after selection press downcore apply changes or discard if made mistake

explanation of segment2 Loadline:

dualseg.jpg

customize a heterogenous loadline for a dual segment workload range.

example above shows loadline=L6 when current is in range of 0~40A, and Level4 when current is above 40A.

Adds for x3d

dynamic ccd priority switch with core flex, os / driver agnostic so win10 win11 ok

97403

97404

Algo as follows:
If condition reached and ccd0 specified, then check current mem/cache activity > threshold and hysteresis reached, if fulfilled then switch
If condition reached and ccd1 specified, then check current mem/cache activity <=threshold and hysteresis reached,, if fulfilled then switch
Default hysteresis =4

Can combine multiple algos for ccd priority so combinations are wide

works on non x3d too but of course senseless on it. detailed explanation here.

That's cool how about on single core?

Probably easier to show you this, by the way, this is with no curve optimiser, its disabled in the bios, I neither have the time or patience to set it up on a 24 core CPU and really dont have the need to either, it runs perfectly cool as it is, its under water and never seen it go over 75oC in anything I throw at it.:

Those scores look good on cpuz, do you know how that compares to prior to 1202?

So i moved to 1202  from 0925 this morning, I have a Strix 670E-F with a 7950x3D. I used all the same setting from my previous bios, happy to share specifics if you're interested. I tend to clear the CMOS then use flashback to go to the latest version, just a rain dance i like to do. Anyway....

Memory speeds reported in AIDA64 were slightly less. About 300MB/s slower

Cinebench Score went down 500-600 Points

Timespy CPU Score went down circa 1000 Points

Also worth noting the SP score went from 110 to 109.

I also noticed a slight increase in power drawn from the wall  only about 2-3W under load but an increase nevertheless. Idle power use in windows remained the same.

Thanks for that info, not sure if I want to update to lose some of the performance though.  Will keep an eye on this all the same

What I hate about Asus is that there is no release notes with their Bios.

They really do not respect their customers.

Here is a new bios release by Intel for the NUC 9 Extreme https://downloadmirror.intel.com/765908/QX_0071_ReleaseNotes.pdf, and here are the release notes with the Bios, this is what Asus should do but they are too lazy:

@Shamino My gskill F5-6400j3239g32gx2-TZ5rs run perfectly fine with docp 1 and 2 on 1101. But with 1202 no chance at all to get them stable.

I don't know if you are using Curve Optimizer, but I had to tweak it and move from AllCores -25 to -15 and begin testing from here onwards. Everything is working better now. BTW I believe the hardware plays a specific role here, so I'm running Strix X670E-E + 7950X3D + G.Skill RAM F5-6000J3038F16GX2-TZ5NR overclocked with Expo Tweaked and PDE and MCR to Enabled to help with post slow issue.

amazing results for me with x670e-i bios 1409.

I used medium boost True.
PPT 190
ccd0 all cores -35
ccd1 all cores -15
Results 38k cb23 81.9 degrees Celsius

What CPU is that?
