ill use this thread to collect some new test bioses for the boards, maybe also to explain some less understood options

to disable cores ccd go here and choose ccd xx bit map down core.
each ones stand for an enabled core
best to disable from the back, ie:
110000
instead of 0011000
after selection press downcore apply changes or discard if made mistake

Adds for x3d

dynamic ccd priority switch with core flex, os / driver agnostic so win10 win11 ok

97403

97404

Algo as follows:
If condition reached and ccd0 specified, then check current mem/cache activity > threshold and hysteresis reached, if fulfilled then switch
If condition reached and ccd1 specified, then check current mem/cache activity <=threshold and hysteresis reached,, if fulfilled then switch
Default hysteresis =4

Can combine multiple algos for ccd priority so combinations are wide

works on non x3d too but of course senseless on it. detailed explanation here.

So, on cold boot, about 1/2 of the time my MB does not pick up Aura Sync devices including the MB itself. If I reboot they show up every time.

It's rather annoying.

@Shamino Can I ask you if you can add a function to the bios that until the am4 chipsets was present

SOFT-OFF BY PWR-BTTN

I have a rog strix b650e-i

also for Asus x670E hero could be useful to have this 🙂 🙂

PWR Button < 4 Secs [Soft Off]
When set to [Soft off], the ATX switch can be used as a normal system power- off button when pressed for less than 4 seconds. [Suspend] allows the button to have a dual function where pressing less than 4 seconds will place the system in sleep mode. Regardless of the setting, holding the ATX switch for more than 4 seconds will power off the system. Configuration options: [Soft off] [Suspend]

@Shamino Curious: I'm seeing other board manufacturers supporting the high-density RAM modules in their new official BIOS releases. I am running beta 1003 (since 1004 dropped support), but when will we get the official build?

@Shamino I see the B650 boards also uploaded a bios on the same 30-Mar date, but indicated as beta and still having high density RAM support. Are those only beta in name and contains the final code?

Well I encounterd a new issue since a few days.

I select shutdown in windows. It shuts down. When i come back later its in the login screen.....
No clue why this is happening. Also sometimes it reboots after a boot. Think it has to do with fast startup....
Got no settings in bios active like wake on or reboot after powerloss etc....

Any ideas anyone ? Im running bios 1004 on X670E-Extreme.

Hi @Shamino when I use the x3d oc preset the system is stable but games are no longer assigned to ccd0 whether with the Bios algorithm provided nor  with the windows driver. Asus crosshair x670e hero with 1004 same behavior with 1002

1004 enables the ccd priority preset together with oc preset so it should switch if tge game uses memory often enough. Check after a short while , if it doesnt then lower the mem activity if you want to switch regardless of cache activity

@Shaminoyou are right. I did not wait long enough. After a minute or so it switched to ccd0
