ill use this thread to collect some new test bioses for the boards, maybe also to explain some less understood options

to disable cores ccd go here and choose ccd xx bit map down core.
each ones stand for an enabled core
best to disable from the back, ie:
110000
instead of 0011000
after selection press downcore apply changes or discard if made mistake

for crosshair and strix e-e:

explanation of segment2 Loadline:

dualseg.jpg

customize a heterogenous loadline for a dual segment workload range.

example above shows loadline=L6 when current is in range of 0~40A, and Level4 when current is above 40A.

Adds for x3d

dynamic ccd priority switch with core flex, os / driver agnostic so win10 win11 ok

97403

97404

Algo as follows:
If condition reached and ccd0 specified, then check current mem/cache activity > threshold and hysteresis reached, if fulfilled then switch
If condition reached and ccd1 specified, then check current mem/cache activity <=threshold and hysteresis reached,, if fulfilled then switch
Default hysteresis =4

Can combine multiple algos for ccd priority so combinations are wide

works on non x3d too but of course senseless on it. detailed explanation here.

Hi,

First, thanks for sharing all of this.

However, I don't know what exactly does the 'Get VF' function from your tool but it made my PC die.

Motherboard X670e-f won't initialize anymore, no led, only some fans running.

Anyone having weird PCIe device detection issues? I've not had any issue detecting my GPU in the top x16 slot. But I have a Startech 4 controller USB 3.0 expansion card that is x4 in the bottom most slot on my Strix X670e-f and I've had a couple of times where it just seems not to initialize and therefore I have none of my USB devices that are on that card. Windows doesn't see the device at all when this happens. A reboot seems to fix it almost 100% of the time. I just can't seem to replicate the issue. It's not a deal breaker at the moment, but it is more than just slightly annoying.

Update: Seems to be that on cold boot, the PCIe USB card would not initialize. Was able to repeat this a few times. Card would be recognized on a reboot, but not on a cold boot. MCR and Power down were set to enabled.
I put MCR and Power Down back on Auto in BIOS, and now it seems to be detecting the PCIe expansion card every time.

Hi,

X670 Hero here - my issue is, that i get a black Screen when windows is starting up - only Bios that works for me is 0805.

I see the BIOS "press DEL" Screen, then i see the circle which shows windows is loading - then the screen goes off and i hear the sound that win startet. unplugging the monitor doesnt work. Testet with an other Monitor -same issue. I disabled the igpu in BIOS, same problem. Cant enter windows with BIOS 0922, 0925, 1003 ( i didnt try 1004 yet, cause im annoyed)

Has anyone a solution yet? or the same issues?
My OS is Win11 - Nvidia driver 531.41 (same issue with previous Versions), DDR 6000 Ram with cl 36 (D.O.C.P II)

I have something similair. My asus 4090 strix is sometimes also not detected. Same for the Pcie Soundblaster.
Im running an 670E-Extreme and using the alternation switch at the bottom of the board to pcie 4.0

It helps a bit but not always.
You can try setting your pcie bandwith to pcie 4.0 manually in bios.
But even that does not always help.

Quite frustrating that when it boots there is no image.......

Where's the option to disable the iGPU in v1003? Thanks!

Go to "Advanced" tab - "NBB" - "IGPU"

or Press F9 to search for "IGPU"

thanks for your reply - i already tried settting it to pcie 4.0 no difference. i boot 10 times and 5 times my  monitor turns off when loading windows...

I have a 4090 tuf. do you use bios 0805 too then? have you tried 1004? - i spend a whole afternoon installing all other bios versions from 0805 to 1003 ...

ill only upgrade if its fixed

I had that issue with several bioses.
changed to 1004 and this morning my soundcard was not detected. So no fix there for that.
A reboot and it was there again.
T.b.h. i mostly see the issue when i do a reboot.
A boot from off usually goes fine./
