ill use this thread to collect some new test bioses for the boards, maybe also to explain some less understood options

to disable cores ccd go here and choose ccd xx bit map down core.
each ones stand for an enabled core
best to disable from the back, ie:
110000
instead of 0011000
after selection press downcore apply changes or discard if made mistake

Detailed Explanation on CState Boot Limiter

Test BIOSes:

new:
X3D OC Preset for those MB with asynch BCLK Support: (for simple slight perf boost for X3D)

DOCP/EXPO Tweaked: (for simple timings tightening)

strixe-f 1515

strix e a 1515

crosshair hero 1515

crosshair gene 1515

crosshair extreme 1515

creator 670 1515

strix 650E I

strix 670 itx

for crosshair and strix e-e:

explanation of segment2 Loadline:

dualseg.jpg

customize a heterogenous loadline for a dual segment workload range.

example above shows loadline=L6 when current is in range of 0~40A, and Level4 when current is above 40A.

Adds for x3d

dynamic ccd priority switch with core flex, os / driver agnostic so win10 win11 ok

97403

97404

Algo as follows:
If condition reached and ccd0 specified, then check current mem/cache activity > threshold and hysteresis reached, if fulfilled then switch
If condition reached and ccd1 specified, then check current mem/cache activity <=threshold and hysteresis reached,, if fulfilled then switch
Default hysteresis =4

Can combine multiple algos for ccd priority so combinations are wide

works on non x3d too but of course senseless on it. detailed explanation here.

Thank you, on Strix-E @ 7950x bios 0088 working ok
Just EXPO settings will must voltage VDD set manually otherwish can not boot up.

In 0088
It was necessary to disable C-Global for stability
and MLB set to ENABLE

Boosting in games up to 5775MHz (in HW Info i can detected someting about 5800MHz but during testing never see someting more.)

Any major changes in 1001 vs 0088?
Setup: 7950X, Strix X670E-E, 32GB 6000 C30, RX 7900 XTX 24GB GDDR6, WD BLACK SN850X NVMe 2TB, Asus ROG STRIX SCOPE RX, ASUS ROG Gladius III Wireless

Not need to disable C-Global here. 0088 works good, only the high cpu soc is not good. Testing now 1001.

Edit: 1001 Bios
hwinfo:
97656

RAM EXPO 2:

Boot fine here with my Strix E. Make cmos clear and load default settings. After this make your settings @RobrPatty.

1001 seems like it updates more firmwares.

BIOS 1001
Crosshair 670x Extreme/7600x/G.Skill F5-6000J3040G32GX2-TZ5NR

-First default booted to windows.
-First EXPO boot worked.
-Rebooted. Went to POSTed failed.
-This repeated next 3 tries with EXPO1.
-Returned to default. Booted to windows with visual issues(fixed by unpluging/replacing display port) on monitor one.
-Reboot to bios but BIOS doesn't show until I unplug/replacing display port. Set EXPO1 and Memory Context Restore off. POSTed failed
-Set EXPO1 and 0805s working VDDSOC/VDDIO/misc. Booted to windows.
-Reboot. Stuck on memory test.
-Manually reboot. Stuck on memory test.
-Turn off and clear CMOS.
-Turn on and try default setting in BIOS again. Booted to Windows.
-Restart and try EXPO1. POSTed failed.

Still a lot of issues for me with 1001. However 0805 is still working 100% of the time with EXPO.

BIOS 1001

The Thunderbolt FW was updated.

AGESA is now 1.0.0.6

First attempt to enable MEMORY CONTEXT RESTORE failed with BSOD. And then the procedure is CMOS-Reset + Windows Repairing. Nice...

Now windows booted two times without error. But so far again without using MEMORY CONTEXT RESTORE, which is a major regression towards Bios 0088.

Just tested a second time enabling MEMORY CONTEXT RESTORE. PC is booting Windows once correctly. After shutting down PC and new start Windows hangs while booting to BSOD or just freezes. And then the procedure is CMOS-Reset + Windows Repairing again.

So 1001 shares the same weird bugs like 0922-0925. I'm going back to stable 0088. Now.

Just my thoughts: Maybe it's time to drop the 09xx fork and start a new attempt with 0088 as a stable base for a new fork.

With 0088 and 1001 the System runs good for the first houer but will see. I test with EXPO 2. Also use ECO 65w Mode. MEMORY CONTEXT RESTORE is Auto.

I have just trtied 1001 on my Crosshair Hero/7950x and it is doing the same thing as before, when EXPO is enabled it crashed on windows load (BSOD) i am able to set PBO as i do with 0805 and it works but only as long as i leave memory at Auto and try try to set EXPO.

@frytom

I also went back to 0088. Latest AGESA & utilizes MEMORY CONTEXT RESTORE.
