ill use this thread to collect some new test bioses for the boards, maybe also to explain some less understood options

to disable cores ccd go here and choose ccd xx bit map down core.
each ones stand for an enabled core
best to disable from the back, ie:
110000
instead of 0011000
after selection press downcore apply changes or discard if made mistake

Test BIOSes:

new:
X3D OC Preset for those MB with asynch BCLK Support: (for simple slight perf boost for X3D)

DOCP/EXPO Tweaked: (for simple timings tightening)

for crosshair and strix e-e:

explanation of segment2 Loadline:

dualseg.jpg

customize a heterogenous loadline for a dual segment workload range.

example above shows loadline=L6 when current is in range of 0~40A, and Level4 when current is above 40A.

Adds for x3d

dynamic ccd priority switch with core flex, os / driver agnostic so win10 win11 ok

97403

97404

Algo as follows:
If condition reached and ccd0 specified, then check current mem/cache activity > threshold and hysteresis reached, if fulfilled then switch
If condition reached and ccd1 specified, then check current mem/cache activity <=threshold and hysteresis reached,, if fulfilled then switch
Default hysteresis =4

Can combine multiple algos for ccd priority so combinations are wide

works on non x3d too but of course senseless on it. detailed explanation here.

X670E Hero board. Is anyone having a problem with Windows 11 after entering the BIOS? After reverting to BIOS version 0805 from version 0922, every time I enter the BIOS and then the system boots into Windows 11, the system has terrible lags and freezes. After shutting down and restarting the system (without entering the BIOS), Windows boots normally. Any advice? I tried to re-upload BIOS 0805 - no result, I cleared CMOS - no change. Advertise the motherboard?

Why downgraded from RC3 to Beta?

RCs are a special kind, they can be as good as actual releases, some are even promoted to full releases, and they also can be as dangerous as an obscure unknown alpha . They still are Dev releases.

Here, with the many issues rising since the introduction of that RC, going to beta might be an upgrade.

I have just tried 0925 and still get BSOD on windows load with DOCP enabled, yet again had to go back to 0805

I have now tried different RAM, specifically Corsair Dominator Platinum 6000 C40 and the same problem occur on the BIOS version after 0805. in fact after going to 0925 for the first time i got an error message before PSOT that suggested my CPU had changed and the fTPM had been corrupted and gave me the option to reset it, which i didnt do until i had put the BIOS back to 0805 as the message persisted.

After the fTPM reset the system booted normally with my saved settings but its incredibly frustrating that BIOS updates are now a bit of a minefield

I tested 0922, 0923, and 0925. None will POST for me with EXPO turned on(0805 was fine). Can't find 0921 to test.

No luck for me unfortunately. Works with default but fails to POST with EXPO enabled. Also tried turning off Memory Context Restore and setting VDDSOC to 1.25v with same results.
