ill use this thread to collect some new test bioses for the boards, maybe also to explain some less understood options

to disable cores ccd go here and choose ccd xx bit map down core.
each ones stand for an enabled core
best to disable from the back, ie:
110000
instead of 0011000
after selection press downcore apply changes or discard if made mistake

ocpak/octools

FAQ:
7950x not boosting pass 5.5G -> check that CStates is not disabled
Detailed Explanation on CState Boot Limiter

Test BIOSes:

new:
X3D OC Preset for those MB with asynch BCLK Support: (for simple slight perf boost for X3D)
97792

DOCP/EXPO Tweaked: (for simple timings tightening)

crosshair extreme 1515

for crosshair and strix e-e:

explanation of segment2 Loadline:

dualseg.jpg

customize a heterogenous loadline for a dual segment workload range.

example above shows loadline=L6 when current is in range of 0~40A, and Level4 when current is above 40A.

Adds for x3d

dynamic ccd priority switch with core flex, os / driver agnostic so win10 win11 ok

97403

97404

Algo as follows:
If condition reached and ccd0 specified, then check current mem/cache activity > threshold and hysteresis reached, if fulfilled then switch
If condition reached and ccd1 specified, then check current mem/cache activity <=threshold and hysteresis reached,, if fulfilled then switch
Default hysteresis =4

Can combine multiple algos for ccd priority so combinations are wide

works on non x3d too but of course senseless on it. detailed explanation here.

Went from 0805 BIOS for X670E Hero and random G.Skill DDR5 hell since release, to 0922 and been 100% stable, no more services crashing, no more random lag, all working great.

All voltages normal for SOC etc when using 6000 EXPO for RAM. Tried my new 64GB ADATA kit and it's also running great on 0922 BIOS.

Same here with X670E Extreme. Went to 0922 & 100% stable. Also using G.Skill DDR5 6000 EXPO x32 GB. Set all settings done with no issues.

I'm using a x670e Extreme on the 0922 bios with the 5.01.03.005 chipset drivers. I'm running my G-Skill 6000 ram on EXPO 1 and getting random dropouts on USB and Network adapters. All drivers are up to date.

I'll be watching youtube and next thing I know the 10G Marvell LAN network adapter will drop out and not show back up until after a restart.

Same thing is happening with random USB dropouts. USB will drop out and not show back up until after a restart.

Audio is still popping on SPDIF and now with Bluetooth as well.

I have not had a random hard lock since the 0922 bios update.

DRAM is now showing as 2998.2 instead of 3000.

Many tech sites suggested that AMD EXPO RAM DDR5 6000 was the "sweet spot" ram for new AM5 Motherboards. So I went with G.SKILL Trident Z5 Neo RGB Series AMD EXPO 32GB (2 x 16GB) 288-Pin PC RAM DDR5 6000 (PC5 48000) Desktop Memory Model F5-6000J3038F16GX2-TZ5NR. And am having no issues with 0922 bios.

The issues with 0922 don't affect all boards it seems, what is yours?

From what I gather from this thread, the Strix series seems the most impacted. I do have a Strix x670 E-E , and the issues are simply unbearable with 0922, between BSOD or just straight up Boot errors...

I have an X670E Extreme board as well, with 2x32 GSkill memory (F5-6000J3040G32GX2-TZ5NR). 0805 is very stable, but 0922 is, as you have, full of BSOD's in Windows and boot issues.

0922 on the Hero AM is very unstable also, BIOS freezes most of the times, can't even F10 to save settings. Very unreliable bios release. It's hard to believe this from an Asus board. I'm thinkin on getting another board from MSI.

So I'm still 0805 which gets me the BIOS code 00 on gaming sometimes even if lower the CPU clock limits. Disappointing.

Hardware: X670E Hero, Ryzen 7 7700, 2x16Gb Corsair Vengence 6000Mhz. After updating the bios to version 0922, I had big problems with system stability. I went back to 0805, unfortunately I noticed that after each entry into the bios, windows has a lot of lag right after starting, it can not respond for almost a minute, I have LiveKernelEvent hardware errors in the history. I've had BSODs a few times. If I don't go into the bios, the system boots normally. Before the update, I did not notice similar problems. DOCP II On, PBO On, CMR - Auto - I had a few BSODs after turning it on... Could I have corrupted the bios somehow? I suspect the problem is in the bios.
