X670=E HERO IS THE WORST OF THEM ALL

Where do I start? I now wonder if I should be paid to use this motherboard. What a nightmare! I am really curious about how they manage to sell these motherboards. One of my best friends, who builds PCs for a living and is doing well, refuses to work with these systems. I told him I wanted a custom cooling on my rig, and he refused. He told me that he would not charge me for something that he knows for a fact will come back to bite him. He said, NO DJ, NO...Not until AMD and ASUS solve this mess. I cannot waste my guys' resources in resolving something unfixable. Sell it on eBay and get an Intel system, or wait for ASUS and AMD to get it right. Probably, they get it right by the release of the 9000 chips. I don't believe they will do anything for the 7000s. It was a bad release. One of the worst in PC history, along with all X670s. I guess we'll have to wait. However, AM5 is not ready and not worth the effort.

I've reread your post a few times now and you don't seem to state what the issue you have is or whether you even have the board. Are you just echoing someone else's thoughts vicariously?

I am not going to picture my rig just because you "require" me to do so...Who are you to question my integrity...I am not even gonna bother...and you are just like an ASUS police or guard. Don't you have anything better to do? Yes, my x670-e Hero will not enter bios, will not run EXPO settings. There are more things that it won't do compared to those that actually do. I have my old Crosshair Dark Hero/5950x/RTX3090 RIGHT UNDERNEATH MY NEW PC and I AM SERIOUSLY CONSIDERING SWITCHING BACK TO IT...MORE THAT $6,000 WASTED ON THIS CRAP AM5! WHY YOU HAD TO READ A FEW TIMES TO TELL THAT I HAVE NOT SAID ANYTHING ABOUT MY PROBLEMS? AT THIS POINT I AM VERY FRUSTRATED WITH THE SYSTEM, I REALLY AM. ASUS SHOULD NOT BE ALLOWED TO SELL THIS, THEY REALLY SHOULD NOT.

If you have the time, you can start a thread in ROG Care and outline the issues and system specs. You can't expect to get help with tangents and rants like this, unfortunately.
