x670 Crosshair Extreme Safe-Boot button not working

As the title suggests, the button doesn't actually apply safe boot settings when pressed, it just reboots or boots the system with the already applied settings leaving the only option to press clear cmos button and load from saved profile.

Sounds like a candidate for RMA. Or it might be a bug from the current BIOS if this depends on the BIOS, not sure.

you should see a Safe Mode Message when you press the btn and it restores all the cpu overclocked settings.
FCLK and Memory cannot be restored with the button as that takes place during the PSP phase before the bios has control:

Well, that explains it then, I was working on FCLK.
