It's been 5 hours between yesterday and today I've been trying to have... wifi and bluetooth oooon, my wifi and bluetooth motherboard, I have installed everything, everything, I have watched useless tutorials, I have followed step by step every single instruction, not a single Asus employee is going to do their job, I have tried to reach the support over and over and over and over, clicking on pages and pages redirecting to pages and pages, absolutely impossible, they want your money and when their 250€ product works worse than a 30€ one they do not care.
I simply want to have bluetooth on my motherboard that features... bluetooth ! How entitled am I really.
Does anyone know how to do it ? I have installed every single Windows Update, I have downloaded every single software Asus tells me to download, probably ruined my computer with **** bloatware.
When I go to the Windows 10 device manager under "bluetooth" there is nothing but "generic bluetooth adapter" with a yellow sign if I click on "generic bluetooth adapter" it says Windows turned off this device because it is causing problems (Code 43). I have tried uninstalling, reinstalling, restarting my computer, once, twice, 3 times, 10 times, it doesn't work, I don't know how hard it must be to manufacture functioning technology Asus but I'm pretty sure you're not exactly efficient at doing it.
When I download "DRV_Bluetooth_MTK_SZ-TSD_W11_64_V110430554_20250923R" from the very website that sells this useless motherboard, I click on "AsusSetup", I mean I may be r******* but I know that when I want to install something I have to download the proper file/folder and then click on the Setup icon. And guess how well it works when I do this simple task ? It does not, a message appears telling me it does not support this operating system WNT_10.0P_64, must be my bad I'm trying to install alien technology on Windows the most used operating system on earth, how silly of me.
What else do I have to do ? Hammer my 1500€ computer and buy a new one from another brand ? Because honestly, we're not in the Amazon forest, there is a brand that sells things, things do no work properly, I feel like I'm allowed to be pissed when I have spend half a day of my little free time, what else should I be saying, hey Asus it's great you send me to your products page after I have to navigate the maze you have put in order to send you an e-mail, picture how deep we are in madness when this is what it takes to e-mail a company that sells garbage, if you don't believe me I have a video proof of it.
