USB Ports Not Functioning Properly

Hello, I assembled my PC about 10 days ago, and everything was going well. However, the lights on my keyboard and mouse remained on even after shutting down the computer. I found on a forum that changing the BIOS setting from S5 to Enable in the 'ERP Ready' option could solve this issue. Since I'm using Linux, I couldn't use Asus' Armory software.

Now I'm facing another problem: half of my USB ports are not functioning. Initially, I thought none of the ports were working, but after moving my mouse and keyboard, they lit up. However, the ports they were originally connected to remain inaccessible.

I tried reverting to the previous configuration by disabling 'ERP Ready'. I also turned off the power using the dedicated button.

I pressed the F5 key to reset the BIOS to default and saved the changes. I even removed the CMOS battery for a few minutes. Additionally, I updated the BIOS to version 1416, but none of these attempts helped me recover my USB ports.

I'm using ASUS ROG Strix X670E-E Gaming WiFi motherboard (AMD CPU). Is there anyone who can help me with this issue or provide any suggestions? I would greatly appreciate any assistance or similar experiences shared.

Are you using NZXT CAM Software? or an USB Hub? If yes, try without it.

For Keyboard Lightning after Shutdown: In my Case this also happens when using SignalRGB with my Kexboard / Mouse for Lighning Effects. After disabling the devices in Signalrgb they shut off in standby.

No, I don't use NZXT CAM Software or a USB Hub. However, I was away from home for 2 days. Before leaving, I reset the BIOS to default settings and unplugged everything, including the power supply. When I returned, everything was working fine, and the USB ports were functional again. There's still an issue with the light on my keyboard and mouse, but I've found a solution. Apparently, the 4 USB ports located at the top don't emit light when the computer is off, so I plugged in my mouse and keyboard there.

Thank you for your message and assistance!
