Unable to enter BIOS after BIOS update (Rog Crosshair X670e Extreme)

Hi all,

I did an update to Version 3304 from Version 3112, and I am now unable to enter BIOS settings.   When I try to enter BIOS, screen just goes blank and then I got a "Post Error" message on the LCD screen above the GPU PCI slot.  I've tried clearing CMOS before updating the BIOS but that didn't work either.  Also going back to version 3112 didn't fix the problem.

I am able boot to OS however.  I just can't enter BIOS when I press del button when it posts.  

Any one have any suggestions?

CPU: 9950x
GPU: Asus TUF RTX 5090
RAM: G.SKILL Trident Z 128gb (2x64gb)

restart and play with monitor menu until post. monitor was sleep at the moment of the post check.  try it

Unfortunately that didn't work for me.  I also tried with different DP and HDMI ports and also generic 60Hz 1080p monitor but it just won't load the BIOS screen.

White led turn on? If so, turn off the psu, disconect the power, turn on the psu, turn on the pc. these will discharge the power from the computer, remove the gpu, plug the monitor to the board, since your cpu have IGPU and try again. 

with no gpu the igpu will kick in. IF DOES NOT work can be, 1. bend in on cpu socket, 2. pcie lane bad, BAD gpu.

check the gpu on another pc. IF all is ok. contact support.

now this is important. if you can post on igpu perfect. remember to reconect the gpu, same as i put add the gpu plug power and PLEASE play with monitor menu you do not need to select anything. if works super. if still have the issue is time to check psu power cables or gpu it selft. having issue on pcie lanes is hardly, but can happens unless you your drop the pc pc and the gpu was affected.

You can with x670 extrem allways switch to second bios if the uppdated doesnt work its only one button press simple and easy.
