Tuf Gaming B650-Plus Wifi lost resolution options after bios update to 3287

Specifically resolution options in the early boot.

I'm running linux and use rEFInd as a boot manager (for when I want to dualboot windows for example).  Before updating I could have rEFInd start up at 1080p and higher resolutions (4k even) and now the maximum available to it is 1280x1024.  If I try to set it higher I get an error and it shows the available resolutions then starts with a fallback resolution.

I believe but am not sure that the TUF boot logo used to load at a higher resolution but now is at 1280x1024 (though I could be wrong).

I've had this issue in the past and it was always a bios setting but I have been flipping settings back and forth and rebooting for a couple days with no success.

Disabled CSM, enabled/disabled fast boot, switched boot logo from auto to full and back.

Has anyone else tackled this (admittedly minor) inconvenience and remember what settings were needed to get back full functionality?

Or has a bios update removed some of the possible resolutions during this early boot phase?
