Hello,
This is my new build:
Everything posts fine and I can get into the BIOS no problem, but the system doesn't see any NVME card I install into any of the M.2 slots. Doesn't show it in storage or the boot list, nor does it appear in any attempts to install Win10 or Win11 from USB drive. When I go into the NVME configuration in the BIOS, it just says No NVME Device Found. I have tried both the SN770 2TB drive that I purchased for the project as well as a 2TB Crucial P3 Plus drive that came out of the same working PC as the 3070. Those are both Gen4 drives that I would expect to work, but I'm sure there's something I'm not understanding or seeing. Some of the suggestions I've seen are for settings that I don't see in the version of the BIOS that I'm running. Just not sure what to even try at this point. Appreciate any suggestions.

I went ahead and talked to an ASUS chat agent, who told me neither card is on their compatibility list. They basically told me to buy something off their list and, if I had the same problem, they would conclude that the board is fail. This feels like a waste of time AND money since the compatibility list includes SN770-WDS200T3X0E-2TB and if I go to find that online, almost everywhere is pointing me to the WDBBDL0020BNC-WRSN which is the SN770 2TB that I have now. I can get that specific SKU from Newegg right now though and it doesn't seem like I have another option if I'm going to convince ASUS that something is wrong with the board. Is there honestly any reason to think I'm going to get a different result?
