Hey,
I built a desktop about two weeks ago and I've been struggling to get Thunderbolt to work properly with this setup. I've tried nearly everything from updating drivers to removing them and installing earlier versions to updating the bios and OS, nothing has worked. I've enabled all of the Thunderbolt settings in the bios. I'm using a PreSonus Quantum 2626 soundcard which uses Thunderbolt. Everything plugged into the Thunderbolt EX4 Card gets power but doesn't show up recognized in Windows. I was using Windows 10 Pro N before and updated but still does not work. I'm assuming this is a software related issue because everything looks to be properly set up but I'm at a bit of a loss here, not sure what to do from here and can't find much of any help online for this issue specifically regarding this motherboard.
In the Device Manager for the Thunderbolt(TM) Controller - 1337, it says:
"This device is not working properly because Windows cannot load the drivers required for this device. (Code 31)
A device which does not exist was specified."
Literally any help would be appreciated, please comment if you've run into this issue and figured out a way to solve it or if you need any more info from me about the issue.
Cheers
