Yesterday I updated the BIOS to version 3112 in preparation for a memory kit upgrade, and after that, I am unable to see the BIOS screen, probably due to some DisplayPort signal issue. I have an RTX 4090 FE with the latest firmware and a Samsung G9 Neo. Changing the DP port on the video card does not help. I can still visualize the BIOS if I change the DP version from 1.4 to 1.2 in the monitor configuration, or if I connect a secondary monitor via HDMI. I never experienced this issue and it is now systematically present with BIOS 3112. Clearing the CMOS did not help. When Windows loads, everything works normally, no issue whatsoever.
Is there a possible explanation?
Thanks in advance.

Hello kakugo
Try my 3rd suggestion on page 2.

In the thread I posted, the OP says the issue was with his monitor. Connecting another monitor he was able to access the bios.
Check for any firmware updates for your monitor.

I followed the steps suggested by Nate152, and it worked. I'm not sure why, because AFAIK it's just another way to enter the BIOS and it shouldn't be different than pressing DEL at boot, but the facts are that I never had the problem I reported again.
