Rog Strix X670e-f Can't connect to KVM

Hi all, I'm having an odd issue. I use a KVM to switch between work and personal pc using the same keybord and mouse, but for some odd reason the motherboard doesn't seem to recognise the KVM. It works perfectly when I connect the keyboard and mouse directly to the back of the motherboard.

Maybe the KVM switch isn't compatible. Which KVM switch are you using? not that I have the answer, but another viewing might be able to comment.
