Hi

i have ROG STRIX X670E-E GAMING WIFI, everythinbg fresh installed, including windows 11. i can't get Realtek Audio Console to work. Tried several hints on the net, deinstalled, reinstalled, deinstalled, more, rebooted more, deinstalled more, manually tried to install, nothing works, i always the message that i can't connect to RCP service.

Internet is full of people with similar issues and not really fixes you can follow.

Any idea Asus?

thanks
ELmar

I think I'm using the panel that came from MS store. I believe MoKiChU, has some linked in his driver threads.

Thank you.

No problem, I'm currently using these on my Crosshair X670E Hero. The SS3 is from MoKiChU thread, and the other I think either driver from his thread installed or came down from MS Store after driver install.

I decided to give up on this topic, its not working, mic is much too low volume, installed countless of different versions. now use a external soundcard which i wanted to avoid. Internet is full of people have the same issue with mic volume, probably since mic boost doesn't work due to bad drivers. in general, a bad software experience 😞

wish I had a solution for you. How frustrating just to be stuck on this one thing. Hope you find a solution.

Asus_Ending threads too soon inhibits people from being able to post fixes. Some threads might need months before a solution is found. Please keep threads on X670E chipset running for longer. Otherwise we will have a thousand threads on X670E issues.

You should ensure you are using the Realtek USB Audio drivers. I didn't realize that at first, but with this mobo the built in audio is USB. If you are using MoKiChU's you want this one for your mobo: Realtek USB Audio Drivers (UAD - ASUSROGSS3-DTS). I would highly recommend cleanly removing everything via MoKiChU's instructions before installing the drivers again.

I'm actually still using the ASUS supplied drivers myself. There is also a Realtek firmware update as well you can find on the ASUS driver page for your mobo. There are actaully two, but you should only need the more recent one.

EDIT: I seldom post without an edit.
