Hello colleagues.

I have a problem and I don't know how to solve it. I'm new to this field and I'm asking for your support and knowledge to see if I can solve it.

When turning on the motherboard, the DRAM LED (yellow) turns on for several seconds and then the CPU LED (red) turns on and two short beeps are heard and nothing happens, there is no video signal.

I've already tried changing the memory, reseating the processor, checking that there's no damage to the pins on the processor socket, and everything's fine.

I appreciate any support or ideas to help me solve this problem. I've been at it for several days now and I'm running out of options.

Hello Nate152

I appreciate your support. I'm telling you that I performed the BIOS update and it's now working correctly. I was late in responding because I was trying to find a USB drive with an activity LED to see if it was actually updating. Now I have the problem with the drivers, which are making it difficult for me to update, but that's a different topic. If I need help, I'll post about it.

Thank you so much.

Hello RogerKings25

Try this:

1) Shut down your pc and unplug the power supply cable.

2) Take out both sticks of memory.

3) Install 1 stick of memory in the A2 slot (2nd slot from the cpu).

4) Clear the cmos by shorting the 2 pins with a metal object such as a paper clip or small screwdriver for 5-10 seconds.

5) Try starting your pc.

Hello Nate152

I've tried several times, including removing the CMOS battery, but with no positive results, it's still the same.

Ok, sorry to hear that didn't help.

Next thing to try is updating the bios.

You can do this with the bios flashback feature. If you need help updating the bios just say so and I'll list steps how to do it.
