ROG CROSSHAIR X670E HERO Bios bug ? 9800x3d

I recently installed 2604 bios did my settings from 2506 that were stable

Wanted to play around with core tuning option that was released anyways 

After I restarted my system from windows to go bios my pc shut off and rebooted into a 2F on motherboard

I also started seeing performance dropping I flashed back to the 2506 and it was back to normal?

This is a known issue with the 2604 bios on a lot of systems. I have an X670E-A, and things were rock-solid on 2506. I could overclock the memory and use the tightest timings. On 2604 I get shutdowns and errors simply by enabling EXPO.

The only "fix" was to flash back to 2506, clear CMOS, and hope for ASUS to acknowledge there's an issue with 2604 on the 600-series and 0706 on the 800-series systems. If you search other threads, forums, sites, etc., you'll find that others are facing similar problems as you on 2604 and 0706.

I have to manually tune my timings cause of the kit 

But still doesn't explain the performance drop and the system just shutdown and rebooting it self after a restart from windows
