MOBO rog crosshair x670e extreme, installed 128gb ram 6000 mghz, bios only reading 4800 mghz, anyone help with what needs to be changed for bios to enable the full speed of the RAM.

You need to buy a 128GB kit if you want to utilise EXPO.

What you've done is buy two separate kits, and combine them. It's simply not how things work. Neither the memory vendor nor the board vendor recommend doing this.

6000MT is an overclock. The memory vendor does not implement contingencies for users doing things the way you are. When you add another kit to the system, everything the memory vendor has done to ensure the kit will work at the advertised timings, voltage and frequency is no longer valid.

You need to remove one kit and retest. You can refer to the motherboard memory QVL to purchase a single, validated kit.

This does not seem to be an Armoury Crate issue.

Have you tried enabling XMP I or XMP II?  This is handled in the BIOS.

Please state which memory kit? Looks as though you're combining them, which is not supported.

Corsair vengeance 64gb (2x32gb) DDR5 6000mhz C40 memory- black x2 = 128gb

You need to remove one of the kits. 128GB 6000MT is not possible, and combining kits is not recommended.

Well that is very interesting, in my search for ram initially I could see no 128gb kits, and I just took it that you just do what I did to utilise the full 4 slots, thanks very much for your input, I will assume I need to look more diligently and find 128gb kit maybe runnijng at 5400mhz.

No worries, still a common misconception. Users tend to get fixated on wanting to fill all available DIMM slots and fall into the same predicament.
Check the QVLon the support site for validated 128GB kits.

But to be honest: Reading (or better understanding 😉 the QVL is not really easy for non-expert users... - e.g. there is *NO* 128GB kit on that QVL that is supported!

There are some entries for 128GB kits on that list, but you have to check the last column "Socket Support": And for all 128GB kits it is stated: 1,2: meaning: only 1 or 2 DIMMS are supported, not all 4 of them. So basically ASUS is saying: if you buy this 4x32GB set, we only support it, if you just plug in two DIMMS, but not if you install all 4... but to be fair, most other motherboard vendors do it the same way...

This is like saying: You can buy and pay for 4 sandwiches at a restaurant, but are only allowed to eat two of them 🙂
