I am asking for your help because I am unfortunately in an conflict with one or more employees of the ASUS France customer support service.
I sent them a lot of technical information, screenshots and photos. All for nothing.
The last questions I was asked after two months of regular communication by E-mail:
- What is the problem actually ?
- Do you use Windows to turn off your computer?
Here are the details of the problem with this mobo :
Sometimes my PC does not boot, the bios is POSTed in safe mode.
AMD Ryzen 9 - 7900X
(2x16 Gb) Kingston FURY Beast DDR5 5200MT/s CL36 (KF552C36BBEK2-32)
- the configuration of my desktop has worked very well for one year and a half, with the EXPO 1 mode activated;
- except EXPO 1 profile, the bios has always kept its default settings;
- the problem appeared after a bios update;
- the problem still appears randomly;
- the problem only appears during a "cold" boot (not during reboot);
- the problem does not appear when EXPO mode is disabled;
- despite this problem during boot, the system works perfectly, without instability or BSOD, under Windows 11 Pro;
- if the problem appears, simply reboot once again (without having disabled EXPO 1 mode) to be able to work around it;
- updating the bios V.3035 did not solve the problem;
- the ram modules are included on the QVL list;
- the 7900X processor supports 5200 mhz ram by default;
- no errors found after a Memtest86 (with EXPO 1 profile activated).
