PC takes roughly 2 minutes to boot *now*, unrelated to Memory Context Restore

  • PRIME X670E-PRO WIFI
  • Currently on latest bios; 3222. This used to happen on older bioses as well, however, I was able to resolve by clearing CMOS, etc.
  • Memory context restore has zero effect.
  • Computer is not overclocked in any way; optimized settings loaded.
  • Once I boot into the OS, things work fine (though sometimes all cores drop down to 500mhz, link).
  • Green boot led will be on when the computer is "frozen".

When the computer starts, the post screen itself only partially renders, meaning only 1 or 2 drives will be listed (but sometimes all of them are, it's a matter of random extreme lag). If I hit Delete to enter the bios, it will take roughly 1 minutes to enter bios, and even upon entering, it will take a further 30 seconds or more to be able to navigate (everything is frozen).

What's wrong here?

Thanks!

Green is the boot led.  So you passed the CPU, DRAM and VGA steps.  Sounds like a bad drive or drive compatability issue.  Have you tried only with the boot drive connected?

Well all my drives are working fine, but you're absolutely right, I'll disconnect everything except the boot drive and see what happens.
