OT: Memtest 86+ 7.0 download is really Passmark

Guys, I know this is OT, but I'm hoping that some of the really experienced guys here can help me out.

I'm trying to use memtest86+ 7.0, so I downloaded it from this website  https://memtest.org/,  I want to use this program, because the webiste claims their program runs an unlimited number of passes.  However, the program that is actually downloaded is a different memory test program from Passmark. You can download the Passmark program diurectly from https://www.memtest86.com/index.html   I don't like thisprogram because it does only 4 passes.

Anyone know where I can download the real memtest86+ v 7 program?

My wife's Lenovo laptop has been experiencing random BSODs, always the same error and always the same software module.  I need to rule out hardware before trying to chase down an elusive software problem.

You're mixing up two different Programs First the Passmark one

MemTest86 - Official Site of the x86 and ARM Memory Testing Tool
MemTest86 v10.6 Build 3000

Note no +(Plus), that is AFAIK closed source, and has a sold "Pro" & Free version

What you asked for is Memtest86+

Memtest86+ is unrelated to 'Memtest86', a closed-source `Freemium` software released in 2013 by PassMark Software Pty Ltd.

Memtest86+ | The Open-Source Memory Testing Tool
Memtest86+ v7.00

Hi,

Wouldn't waste your time other than using the built in Memtest86+ in the UEFI to test for faulty DIMMs. Use Karhu Ramtest or TM5 from within the OS. Far more stringent at testing DDR5 memory stability.
