New mobo with 9800x3d Powers on but doesn’t post, no signal hdmi

Flashed the bios to the latest version, 1 ram stick, no stick, no gpu, flash cmos. Tried leaving it running for 1h but the cpu fan spin, the ram lights up and that’s it.

PSU is from my current build and works.

is there anything i can do to make it works or should I go ahead with a return?

ram: ddr5-6400 48gbx2 cl32-39-39-102 1.35v

Hi @Dadlydoo

Please check the Q-LEDs can you confirm which is lit?

Only the orange light for power is on, no beeps or anything telling me whats wrong.

The orange light is DRAM.

1. Attempt to post with one DIMM in slot A2.

2. Reseat the CPU and cooler, inspect the socket and CPU pin-pad for any debris or damage.

3. If using a third-party CPU contact frame, remove and reinstall the stock retention mechanism.

3. Ensure the ATX 24-pin and EPS12V power cables are fully inserted at both the motherboard and PSU side.

Retest.

Hi thanks for attending to help.

just did all that and the dram light is on, left it on for 10min and nothing.

Thanks for confirming.

If the CPU and MB were purchased recently look to return them and get the etailer to check.
