Mods please move this if it's in the wrong place, thanks.
So got an Asus B650-A board with a 7900X and 64GB Kingston Fury 6000 C30 kit. Upon 1st launch in Windows saw CPU temps hit past 95°C which I expected as I haven't done any bios changes to PBO.
I've tested ECO mode with Curve optimizer in AI Tweaker and also Adnaced PBO settings just in AMD Overclocking tab. I don't know what to use for best performance / less temp ratio. I think I got a good chip cause it passes all tests I've thrown at it. The only bad thing is my Core5 hits 10°C higher than others. I've changed and remounted the heatsink twice, same results.
Current setup is AMD OC ECO with -10 Curve and an 80°C max thermal. Used this cause of my rouge Core5 temp and to minimize fan noise. Cinebench 24 makes my Cores run at about 5,450mhz - 5,500mhz with a max VID of 1.400v.
Been getting a mix of BIOS settings to try from YouTube videos. Anyways anyone who has a similar setup and can help me tweak for best results are great and thanks.
