Disabled integated graphics still showing in Windows device manager (ROG STRIX B650E-F)

I have a ROG STRIX B650E-F running bios 1807

I want to disable the integrated graphics (iGPU) as I have a dedicated GPU. To to this In the Bios I go to Advanced -> NB Configuration and set "Integrated Graphics" to Disabled. But the iGPU is still showing up in the Windows Device Manager (Moving from Display Adapters to Other Devices). It is still taking RAM and Windows Update still wants to install drivers for it.

Any advise on how to actually disable the iGPU would be appreciated.

I could be wrong, but I would guess its hardy taking any ram if any at all. Ill check to see what it does on my MB tomorrow when i disable mine.

I can confirm that, i have the same issue on my Crosshair x670e Hero with 7950x3D

I think it's showing in Control Panel if it installed if you booted the PC one time with it enabled.

Make sure it's disabled in BIOS, delete it from Device Manager, reboot, if it doesn't come back I'm right.

If you go to Advanced\AMD CBS\NBIO Common Options\GFX Configuration there should also be an option to disable the integrated graphics controller. On old Bios before July 2023 this was the only way to disable the IGPU if I remember correctly.

I was mistaken in the OP when the iGPU is disabled in the BIOS it is no longer claiming RAM (the core issue in the title still applies though). I wrongly assumed due to my Intel laptop with only an iGPU that "hardware reserved" memory is solely due to that. But its not the case.

For the record: With iGPU enabled "hardware reserved" memory is ~900MB.
With iGPU disabled "hardware reserved" memory is 289MB.

@KedarWolf I did as you suggested with no luck, no AMD display drivers as confirmed by DriverStoreExplorer and it returns after reboot.

@Mister_Benson  I only have two entries in that section of the bios. "UMA Version" and "GPU Host Translation Cache" both where on auto, I set the latter to disabled and it still shows up in device manager. I also tried enabling iGPU , rebooting too see if more menu entries would show up, but none did.

another solution, Leaving the IGPU disabled in the Bios, try to reinstall AMD Chipset Drivers 5.11.02.217 WHQL to see if this would not clear the missing PCI driver error in your device manager.

I disable it here. Not showing in Device Manager or Driver Explorer. I'm using BIOS 1806, not 1807, the latest, to avoid the security mitigation.

Reinstalling the chipset drivers after disabling in BIOS was exactly the solution that worked for me - X670E-F here. No more "PCI Device" now.
