CROSSHAIR X670E HERO AND 7950X Blue Screening

Hi,

I had recently built a new workstation (first time building), and everything seems fine but its been bluescreening randomly, such as when on idle or if I close a game. I am currently running most things stock, so no overclocks on anything apart from DOCP 1 is enabled (5600mhz). I have tried DOCP 2 and it's more stable than 1 but again still blue screen. The best results I have found is that disabling DOCP and running stock and I rarely get any blue screens and so far only encountered a few during heavy work load such as during and after rendering inside Unreal Engine 5. I am really stressed out because I have been saving for the past 5 years to build this to help me be more efficient so any help is appriciated thank you!

My specs are

Motherboard x670e hero

Cpu 7950x

Cooler bequiet dark rock pro 4

Ram Vengeance 64gb 5600mhz (all slots are occupied)

GPU Zotec 4090

I believe this was the error that I got from event viewer

The CPU is only validated for 3600 with 4 sticks. Try removing two sticks and testing again. If you want 64GB and high freq you will need to get kits that are 32GB sticks.

I see thank you so much I will test that but if I were to get high frequency 64gb ram which ram kits would you recommend?

Fore maximum compatibility, i would suggest making sure you are getting EXPO kits.

However, i have read on a few forums where people are using just whatever memory they can just now, preferably the cheapest support memory and waiting until lower latency DDR5 becomes available. However, i am not sure just when they are expected to appear if there is even a timeline for them just now.

well as @Tyberious has said, your biggest issue is going with 4 sticks of DDR5 because that has been an issue even since the launch of Intel 12th Gen.

If you test with 2 sticks and you get stability and can make do with 32Gb, you might be better waiting if you absolutely have to have the highest frequency lowest latency memory and you are undertaking tasks that will benefit from the faster RAM.

Yikes yeah that's really expensive and I can't even find them anywhere in the uk but I guess the best thing to do at the moment is to wait.

It might take a bit as they were just released. They are one of the few 64GB kits out that will work well with AMD.

I just received the new G.Skill 2x32 64gb F5-6000J3238G32GX2-TZ5N Kit and when I turn on the pc I get the Q-Code C5 any idea's what that could mean?
