Crosshair 670E Extreme

Hello to all.

I am still experiencing stability issues with my 670E Extreme with no overclocking being done.  My bios  is 1602 and that seemed to help some what. Armory crate is updated  5.7.3.0 I just noticed that there is an AMD driver update AMD Chipset Driver V5.06.16.400 for Windows 10 64-bit, Windows 11 64-bit.(WHQL). on the support driver page at ASUS.com   My Armory Crate  states that all drivers are up to date with AC showing the AMD Driver as  AMD Chipset Driver V 5.03.24.2328 for Windows 10 64-bit, Windows 11 64-bit.(WHQL)

Wondering if I should manually update as AC is not at the latest for the AMD driver.

That's a lot of services falling over, so I'd not rule out system instability just yet. Have you tried removing Armoury Crate from the system?

Also confirm EXPO/XMP is not enabled.

Just updated to the latest Nvidia driver and the AMD chipset driver. Having hardware crashes daily now. Notice it more when there is a load on the Strix 4090 OC GPU. Getting blue screen and total shut downs. Going to try to wipe the Nvme with a format and reinstall windows 10 pro and all drivers if the crashing continues with the newest drivers installed. Summary so far is Windows reports a hardware crash. Happen any time now that a game puts a load on the Audio and Video hardware. Starting to wonder if I have both a bad Strix 4090 and a bad X670E Crosshair Extreme MB at the same time. Sound has continuous popping and Video will stall out. At least I am not getting the Audio.exe crash as before so the linked drivers seemed to fix that.

My DDR5 has passed every test from MEMTEST86 and the internal Windows 10 ram tester.  AMD Chipset is at 5.06.16.400 driver, USB Audio is at  6.3.9600.2368. Nvidia is at  546.01 so I have the latest drivers Bios is at  1602 I do see that there is another Bios V out 1709. Not sure I need to go to that as I am not replacing the 7950X3D AMD cpu.  Very Frustrated with the ASUS Crosshair and the lack of Stability  on a top of the line MB.
