CPU SOC too high on Asus Boards?

I have the "Asus X670e E Gaming Wifi" with "Corsair Vengeance RGB 32GB, DDR5-6000 RAM" and when set the EXPO Profil the CPU SOC get to 1.38, without EXPO with 4800 i see only 1.048. For me the 1.38 are much to high. I get also a reboot when set to EXPO, without EXPO my System is stable. So I would be interested to know what your CPU SOC is when using EXPO or XMP, with RAM starting at 6000MHz?

i had the issue of stability setting my 64gb ddr5 to 6000 mhz expo with crashes due to high soc, i found a beta bios version 0802 on these forums that has fixed this issue

what is your Soc voltage now with the new bios ?

With 0802 is 1.28.

Hmm oke, strange that it was set so high before then. I am still on the official 611 bios
And if i leave soc voltage on auto it sets to 1.250v when i use Expo (DDR5 6000)
So that is even a little lower then 1.28 you got on the 802 bios

I guess that 1.250v is safe then.. i was a little worried that even that might have bin to high

1.28 is nor realy high but 1.389 is too high. I have write Asus and i hope this will fix now in the future. With the test bios 0801 and 0802 the cpu soc is fine.

I know Buildzoid managed to kill a 7950x and he seems pretty certain it was the Asus board that killed it so there might be something to this

I have a Crosshair x670e Hero - 7950x, 32 GB Trident 6000 ram - on EXPO II my SOC voltage defaults 1.243 on auto.

I am using the 0802 beta bios.

I'm also having an issue with SOC voltage. its reading 1.36v on AUTO.AsusX670E-I motherboard. I contacted tech support and they don't seem to care.

Think i would manually set it to 1.250V and wait for a newer bios.. and then check again..
i would not leave it to 1.36v and i guess you are using DDR5 6000 so 1.250 should be enough to keep it stable..

I have seen a couple of posts with people that have high soc voltage.. and i am wondering why that is.. (maybe the Io die also has a Sp rating and by that the voltage is set ?? ) just speculating ?
