Hello everybody,
I'm experiencing some very specific / weird issues with my Asus X670E-A Gaming WiFi with it's USB ports and a and a Sapphire Pulse AMD Radeon RX 7900XTX.
Sometimes whenever I (re-)boot my computer, sometimes there's a delay of 2 - 3 seconds before the POST screen will show. When this happens there's a guarantee my system will not complete it's boot sequence.
Whenever I boot into Linux whenever I have this delay, my system is able to boot until the graphical interface. Whenever I reach the graphical interface (Wayland) neither my USB keyboard or USB mouse response and I'm unable to login. Whenever I press the shutdown key, the system does respond and shuts down normally as it should. If I reboot or power off and power my PC back on again this issue still persists. Whenever this issue occurs, Bluetooth is not working either.
I have briefly tested this with Windows on a separate SSD (but I'm not a Windows user), and there the issue seems the same; none of my USB devices are responding.
The only way to resolve this issue permanently is to plug the power cord, wait a few minutes so that all electricity can seep out and plug it back in.
I've tried installing several BIOS versions and I've tried playing with the USB always-on settings, but neither seems to resolve the issue.

Bump, does anyone have any ideas?

Don't know if it would help. Just an another route of diagnosis if you haven't fixed your issue. Perhaps a USB device is causing an issue with your motherboard. As regardless of OS used (Linux/Windows), issue persists.
