Hi everyone,
I just bought a ASUS ROG STRIX B650E-F GAMING WIFI and I'm using a 64GB G.Skill Trident Z5 RGB DDR5-6400 DIMM CL32 Dual Kit. And the Bios and also in Windows I can see, that the RAM is only running with 4800 MHz.
RAM Speed in Windows
BIOS Start Screen
BIOS AI Tweaker
I tried the different options of the Ai Overclock Tuner (DOCP, DOCP II and DOCP Tweaked) but none of them worked. I always get an error message while starting. Then I have to get back to the BIOS and change settings.
How can I make sure, that my RAM Speed will use the full 6400 Mhz?
I'm thankful for any hints!
Thanks in advance,
Mathias

i have same problem, my memories works better with in JEDEC standard, but i can decrease a bit the timings. Within the JEDEC standard you must be able to maintain reasonable stability, nothing that would allow you to force heavy memory stability tests.
These unsupported memories can only be reported as difficult to use until new updates appear. Try reporting this also on the AMD forum, in the processors area: AMD PROCESSOR COMMUNITY
JEDEC 4800MTs
AGESA 1.0.8.0 = BIOS 1809
My memories: 2x32GB, GeiL Polaris 32-39-39-96, 6400MTs, XMP 3.0 and my DDR5 memories have the following IC identifying inscription:
H5CG48AEBD
X018 229A

Ok I've been trying some configurations and made it to have a RAM Speed of 5800 MHz.
I've set the Ai Overclock Tuner to DOCP II and set the DRAM Timing Control to 40-40-40-80
But I couldn't find any configuration, to get a stable setting with RAM Speed > 6000 MHz...

Does not really make me happy, but I may not have any other option. Of course I could have checked alle supported available Memory Kits, but well... I didn't. I thought, this certain Memory Kit seems to be so common, that it should not be a problem at all
Thanks for your answer
