Hi guys, I'm a beginner, I hope to find someone who can help me, I have a rog strix b650 ee gaming 7800x3d 4x32gb ram dominator cl 30 but with the Expo profile I can't make them read at 6000mhz but only 4800mhz in dual channel, it didn't happen, what parameters do you recommend, thank you very much for your help

guys unfortunately the problem has not been solved the maximum frequency in manual OC is 5600mhz impossible to reach 6000mhz the pc does not start 🙁 maybe with which bios update that will come out will they solve the problem?

Actually, 5600MHz is pretty good for combining two memory kits and doubling the capacity to 128GB.

Adding a second memory kit and trying to run the same speed is too much for the cpu's memory controller to handle. Therefore,  a bios update won't help with this.

If you must have 128GB, I'd be very happy with 5600MHz. You should expect to have to settle for a lower frequency when going with more capacity, it's just the way it is.

Remember, you were stuck at 4800MHz. So I'll say, nice job getting your memory up to 5600MHz.

I'm satisfied so I had never done manual OC on the RAM but only with default Expo profiles let's hope that some BIOS update comes out that solves the situation

You're expecting a little too much is all, a bios update isn't going to help this situation.

To avoid issues such as you're having, when purchasing memory, always choose a single kit of the speed and capacity you want as it has been tested to work.

Corsair will tell you this too, check this link. - RAM: Can I mix CORSAIR memory kits? – Corsair

Honestly though, I think you did very good with what you have.

surely but the 4 Corsair modules are all the same 32gb banks cl 30 6000mhz sk hynix

Read this again.

They strongly recommend to NOT combine memory kits even of the same speed.

What they're saying is exactly the issue you're having.

yes yes indeed it was a gift I didn't intend to insert other memory but I'm really happy with the result 🙂

Oh, I see. What a nice gift.

I doubt you'll even notice the 400MHz difference.

I use it for everything ryzen 7800x3d and 7900xtx even in gaming no problem i.e. I don't notice the difference
