I’m building my very first pc, bought the Asus rog strix b650-a motherboard and a msi mpg a650gf, about to finish the building I was missing the proper conector. It looks like this ( ) [][] () in the motherboard, but the cpu cable that the power supply has looks like this: ()()()[]
should I buy another power supply? And if so, what adapter should I buy for an Asus 4070 super dual in case the new power supply doesn’t come with the cable don’t know much

Yes, the cpu power cable will work just fine.
Your power supply comes with a 12VHPWR cable for your ASUS Dual RTX 2070 Super, you won't need to use the power adapter.

Red - 12VHPWR cable

Hello Alejandroh12
You'll want to connect the 8-pin cpu power cable and 24-pin main power cable.
The 8-pin cpu power cable is usually marked ATX or CPU, it could also be a 4+4 power cable.
The ASUS Dual RTX 4070 Super comes with an adapter in the box, ASUS recommends a minimum of a 750w power supply.
What power supply do you have?
