On my Asus board, in the bios, there is an option for USB Audio Controller (Enable or Disable). With ALL other motherboards i have owned in the past, USB audio has always existed. Its just pure data going through the usb ..and then Mabey to a external DAC or other device (which I do)
Questions
1. What makes this "USB Audio Controller" different than the "old way" of just simply passing usb audio data through the usb port. Is there special noise cancelling on the ports ?
2. If I enable it, is there a certain usb port I should use..or it enable usb audio on every port ?
Thank you

I Have both the X670-E & the B650-A
on the 650-a I was using Discord with the Corsair Hs70 Pro wireless & i couldn't get the audio setup on discord
to use the mic for some reason I have the Asus ROG Strix X570 & my HS70 wireless works great on that Motherboard... after having the issues with the B650-A Im a LiL reluctant to upgrade to the X 670-E
I have Read on Reddit about the issues that they are having with the USD AUDIO of the ALC4080
from my Experience's with Usb audio devices you Should be able to use any of them ( I HOPE )
